Does a stache grow on a eunuch? I am really wondering about this now.

Not if his testicles were removed before puberty, which I think was the case here. In any case the lack of hair is trademark eunuch.

In the books, Melisandre is said to have a great rack.
So you could say that they are being very true to the books in that respect

wow man... thanks you've spoiled the books for all of us....

People who like Natalie Dormer (Margaery) should check out The Tudors series where she played Anne Boleyn. She was super hot in that series as well (and a brunette!).

You are correct. If someone is castrated before puberty they generally lose the ability to grow facial and body hair. They also keep the same high pitched voice they had as boys among other things.

There has been a scene where you could see him sleeping and another when he just woke up. He hasn't actually spoken any lines and has had less than 10 seconds of screen time so I can see why you wouldn't have noticed him lol.

Question regarding Brianne and Jaime.

Toward the end of episode 7, Jaime leaves Brianne in her cell to return to King's Landing. Jaime says something along the lines of being in debt to Brianne for something, and she says as long as you keep your word, consider the debt paid. He says that he promises to return Arya and Sansa to Catelyn Stark (his promise I guess). But why is Jaime in debt to Brianne? What did she do for him that I can't remember? Jaime saved her from being raped before getting his hand cut off by saying her father would pay for her in sapphires, but I can't remember why Jaime would be in debt to Brianne and needing to keep his promise to return the Stark girls to Catelyn.

Somebody help. Thanks

In a way, Brianne saved Jaime from getting murdered by Robb's bannermen. I think Brianne's argued she's just doing her duty to Catelyn, but Jaime sees it as a debt for saving his life.

So I am reading the books now (not finished yet but I will be soon) so I can't discuss the series anymore. What other Germans need to about the books is that the German translation is fucking awful:

- Translating telling names is necessary for non English speakers so I don't mind that they did that, but they did an awful job at it. For example Hot Pie becomes "Heiße Pastete" (Hot Pastry), Highgarden becomes Rosengarten (Rose Garden) and King's Landing becomes Königsmund (King's Mouth). Every second name either sounds awful in German or makes no sense or both.
- Also they randomly made the maps in the book not show 2/3 of the locations for no reason, they only show the very big castles. You can't follow the characters along their path like in the English versions.
- To make it even worse they split up the books into 10 parts (just cut each book in half and let the books end randomly in the middle) so they can sell twice as many books. The German book price binding makes the books more expensive, too. So for the whole series in English you pay 40€ (8€ x 5) and for the whole series in German you pay 155€ (15.5€ x 10).

If you are German and want to read the books, do yourself a favor, buy the English books. They are far better and cost you 1/4 of the money.

lol it doesn't really surprises me. In French the translation is also not that great, with some names which are a bit twisted (for exemple King's Landing is "Port Royal' (Royal Harbour)).
And they also split the books into many parts 2,3 and sometimes 4. Each book costs approximatly 19 euros in normal size, and 8 in pocket size. I also recommend to read it in english if you can ^^.

I read all the books in English because of the above reasons. Way better experience

These are the reasons I always try to read books in their original language (of course, the options are somewhat limited when you only speak two languages, but still...). I looked over a copy of the Swedish version of book three, and even the translated title (A Storm of Swords became 'Svärdets makt', or '(The) Power of the Sword', ugh) put me off completely. You're always bound to miss some things from a translated version, so sticking with the original is always better, I'd say.

Especially if they split the books, like they did in your example.

Same with Dutch translations.
Hooggaarden instead of Highgarden and shit like that.
I don't understand why translators translate names.
If they didn't I would read their work, now I don't.
