Hey, the average British person has less cavities than the average European or American. now if you want to say the average British person's teeth are not as white, then you would be correct.

No, Bastard :D We all know this show is all about Bastards. Jon, Gendry, Joffrey. Don't forget Craster! To be a bastard your father has to actually have a family name. Low born people don't have a family name. People that live outside the feudal system like Wildlings also don't have a family name.

So I'm a game of thrones nub and only started watching recently.
1. Why does Tyrion need to marry Sansa?
2. Why is Gendry getting sacrificed?
Cheers!

I suggest that you go back and watch from the start, you will enjoy it
1. Because Tyrion's father (Tywin) arranged it. Lords and ladies generally have their marriages arranged by their parents.
2. Because he is the bastard son of the now dead King Robert Baratheon, and Melisadre says that 'there is power in king's blood'.

1. Lannister house wants to marry a Stark with intentions of obtaining winterfell and a strong foothold in the north assuming they win the war vs Rob Stark (the king of the north).
2. The red women (Melisandra) needs to sacrifice someone with "Kings blood" to gain magic power (If you remember season 2, she has sex with Stannis to born that crazy demon baby thing). Gendry is Robert Baratheon's bastard son and therefore has King's blood.
|
Tyrion marrying sansa is more because the tyrells were planning on having loras marry sansa. At this point sansa is still the lannisters prisoners, so its important for them to keep her. Tywin also mentions that after he kills Robb sansa will be the last of the stark family, brann and his younger brother thought being dead. Tyrion marrying her will make him lord of the north.

Cheers! I hope you started watching from the first season, first episode. Anything else is pointless.

He has been there some this season, they had the scene where he started to wander off and Osha told him to come back, and Bran said their dire wolves would protect him. He has never had many scenes or lines the whole series.

So I am perhaps violating the no book talk rule here, please dont ban me In the books, Melisandre is said to have a great rack. So you could say that they are being very true to the books in that respect
