King's Landing was okay too and I suspect the Bran flashback of King's Landing is going to become relevant at some point. Everything Riverrun was dumb as hell. Blackfish was right and that guard essentially staged a coup, which is fine, but only if they already show them as having no morale and being looking to surrender. If they didn't want to surrender before there is no reason for them to surrender just because the captured Lord said to. Hell, why didn't they torture him until he ordered them to surrender before? Hell, why didn't he kill himself before surrendering? He had access to a big moat, would have been easy enough to do and once he was dead they'd have no leverage over him or the Blackfish, regardless of this unseen and probably made up son. All dumb as hell, the course he took was stupid, pointless and honourless, deserting both his house and his uncle. Meereen the joke scene was painful. Hopefully Dany will do something at some point, I imagine wooden ships and that huge fucking dragon will end pretty well for her. But you can't just put Tyrion in a scene and ignore an awful script, it doesn't work that way. Part of the reason we like Tyrion is because of good writing in some of his earlier scenes, if you take away the good writing he can't carry a scene. Also presumably the army of the slavers are slaves, given the whole slavers thing. They'll be different brands of the Unsullied or the newest generation of them or whatever but the Masters are a rich minority of freemen in a primarily slave society who hold power by force. So what is almost certainly about to happen will be a large scale massacre of slave soldiers by Dany which will be nothing to the Masters but the loss of property. And in the Bourne Identity featuring Arya Stark as Jason Bourne I'd have quite liked the entire chase scene to have been cut. Also is she injured or not? It seems to come and go. If they weren't going to have her hurt then why did they bother showing such graphic injuries before. Also what the hell does the Faceless Jesus guy want? He decided that Arya should join, then that she had a name, then that she didn't have a name, then that she should die, then that she had become no-one, even though she left because she could never put that name behind her and that's why she had to die. There is no possible telling of the Faceless Jesus storyline that I can think of that makes even the slightest bit of sense. It's all just "wait but what?".

Really glad that Ayra and Waif showdown was not shown as it was obvious that Ayra would win. I like how Ayra lured Waif into that room with the candle. Nice job. Looks like the Hound will be helping out alot more. Im enjoying watching his story. Awesome revisit of Jamie and Brianne of Tarth, wonderful to see those two, the acting was delicious. As soon as the ships arrived to Mereen it was obvious this was a job for the dragons. Considering the time constraints of the show, loving it, looking forward to next episode.

![]() Anyway, overall: 1. Edmure still a fucking pussy after all these years. You'd think being mistreated by the Freys all this time, then hearing Jaime's selfish interests would spur him to use his presence in the castle to rally his troops and make an epic stand. They have a fucking castle, with massive rivers all around, and he doesn't even want to fight? Good god he fucking infuriates me. Then again, I guess he stayed true to his character from season 2, a giant fucking bitch. 2. RIP Blackfish, wish we knew more about him. And I think it would have made a really nice fresh "twist" if he went with Brienne back to Sansa. The Starks and Tully have always been about family and honor and all this good shit. The Blackfish reunited with his blood, and seeing Jon Snow, might have given us quite a bit of interesting information about Caitelyn as a girl, her relationship with Ned, and possibly even some info on the mother of Jon. With all this said, if it went down this way, Jaime probably would've been forced to stop the 3 of them when he saw them on the battlements. 3. The best part of the episode for me was when Jaime and Brienne waved to each other and acknowledged each other. I thought that was a nice scene. They are both children of lords who are outcasts in a lot of ways, and I think that bathtub scene really connected them. I mean Brienne is probably one of 3 people who actually knows about why Jaime killed the Mad King. She also witnessed his hand getting chopped off. I love their respect for each other and totally understand the scene. 4. The Brotherhood is cool and all but it's been years and they are still talking about finding a purpose? FFS just do something about it. It reminds me of a group of stoners that sit around smoking all day + Show Spoiler + nothing wrong with this btw 5. Dany is back yay. Tyrion's lines are no longer what they used to be. Where is Varys off to again? 6. No trial by combat! Excited to see how this will resolve, along with what Margery's plan is? Although seeing how the Braavos story ended, I'm not holding my breath. 7. Braavos. Arya Arya Arya. ARYA. I want to cry. Nothing happened. Unless something new happens next week it appears Arya literally just left the Hound, went on a boat, did some pointless stuff, and will now be back exactly where she was. I've been dreaming about this story arc since the end of season 2, and this is how it ends. I'm so crushed ![]() So ya, 2 more episodes guys. Too disappointed to feel hyped right now, hope it picks up again next week.

1. I was defending the fact that Arya could get away with her wounds before, but just running and jumping like she is the healthiest athlete in the world has no fucking sense, and the goal of her story was to train and go back to Winterfell just like that? uninteresting character now for me. 2. Please dont butcher Tyrions character that much, my niece who is 3 years old could write better scenes if she would know how to write, that scene of the "jokes" just caused me a headache. 3. Zombie Mountain scene, irrelevant now. 4. Blackfish dead, wtf, really, so the He is my lord cheap dialogue just resolved the siege? for me was the most underwhelming development in any GoT story ever. The Hound was the only thing that was in an average level, but He joining the brotherhood, is just not the Hound, boring story from now then.

Still annoyed with the Blackfish storyline. There was plenty of potential there to make it interesting but instead they just said eh fuckit lets just kill him off because we can't be bothered to write a good story.

Ya lol I agree. What was the point of injuring her? What was the point of her going back to the theatre lady? What was the point of braavos???

all this have been pointless and ended in even more WTF than before, and they didn't even bother explaining why arya could beat the waith, just because she fought some fight when blind now she is a master at fighting in the dark ? the waif dying scene would have been so damn satisfying moment and the deprive us of it ? then she just decide to quit and jak'hen is like "oh ok, well glhf" ? what was the fucking point of her story arc ?

I read that as an offer to join the faceless men. Basically: "you killed one of us so you must be good enough to be one of us"

If the Faith is smart, they'll let Cersei manipulate and fight super hard to bring back trial by combat, then let the Mountain fight Loras to divide the royal alliance. Getting rid of trial by combat is totally logical considering the Faith does not have any champions of its own, whereas Loras and the Mountain are two of the best fighters in Westeros. More realistically, Margaery will probably try something from the inside to ruin the trial. Qyburn may also have some dirt that helps Cersei discredit the High Sparrow and get his followers to turn on him.

Especially as GoT goes more mainstream, the show doesn't have the balls to kill her off and she has to make herself relevant to the main plots again. She was never going to die but it's just that she spent almost 2 seasons doing jack shit and is back to the point when she left to Braavos.
