If you like this manga, I recommend this one strongly, it's finished (39 chapters) and pretty awesome too.
It's missing a few chapters but you can find them elsewhere.

And Rock Lee is the best.

Meanwhile the anime is caught in the infinite filler tsukuyomi, or whatever you'd call it. Dunno what their reasoning is behind 3 months of filler, followed by 2.5 episodes of canon and then back to filler. It just pisses people off.

Why do people even bother watching the anime (or at least watching it as it comes out). Naruto has always been full of fillers, I literally gave up watching it for that very reason. They're dragging a dead corpse around for as long as it makes money.

I like it. I like it a lot. The whole ninja world is in ruins! This might prove to be a very interesting story. Especially if there's new blood working on the series.

I didn't really notice the art until people mentioned it, it's not that bad. I think it works, you have a totally new story in the universe, and the change in art reflects that. I'm slightly worried about the content of the story, because although the ending to Naruto was rushed, it was still a decent ending to what I thought was a great story. usually what you do there is you stop, so I'm worried there, but for sure it's better than what Bleach has going on. It's something to look forward to at the very least, which is nice.

The way it opened, it seemed as if Naruto ends up dying at some point? And why are they covered in markings? It's a complete departure from the Naruto universe as can be in the 1st 2-3 pages. Not sure what to expect honestly.

Really? I noticed it from page 1 onwards, really dislike the new art, makes it seem like this new series is just a cash grab. It just seems messier, and characters look different from before (Hinata wtf). Maybe if the story is good I'll read it, haven't seen the Boruto movie either so I can't judge early.

for sure it's better than what Bleach has going on

Bleach should've ended like a decade ago, haven't bothered reading it in 4 years or so besides the occasional glance, which I end up regretting every time.
