I expect nothing from it, except: effects sound 3D turtles shredder splinter o`neil ooze pizza I was pleased with the 90`s movie adaption beside the fact they were.. different from the tv animatic. Hopefully Bay learned his lesson, and made the whole movie less ... kitschy. Dunno how to describe what went wrong with transformers.. it was somehow a little too immature for my taste. The people who watched the 80`s series are old now... yeah, somehow there needs to be a way to catch the young audience, which is surely more important for a life circle than satisfying the old nerds... but pls, let me enjoy this movie tt | ||

It was cringeworthy and anyone who doesn't have a special interest in it, because he grew up with the Turtles or something, should avoid it IMO. | ||

The charakters themself are good implemented, except two exceptions. Shredder is one exception. He`s a cool and charismatic villian until the point he get his decepticon suit. Transformers says hello. The turtles are fine and the humor fits really good. There were plenty of moments for a good laugh. They saved the movie. First of all Michelangelo. Ms O'Neil aka Megan Fox... well, only an eye catcher. The scenes with her were so bad and subtile, that it felt more like a slapstick inlay, unfortunally. Effects and sound were really good, ofc. Although the movie itself felt a lot like a mod with Transformers as its main movie. A lot of sounds and light effects were recycled. But also the *schwipp, boing, tsswusch*s from the 90's movies were included. Story was really flat overall. No big suprises or twists and subtile dialogs. Some elements were cool, some were bad and i wish they had made things a little different. So, to sum it up; Pictures and the turtles are the good things. The other characters (esp. O'Neil and decepticon.Shredder) could have been better. The story telling is too subtile and the sound too transformer'ish. My personal imdb rating prolly would be 6.9 - 7.1 The good laughs we had really saved the movie. | ||
