I am not sure I Liked the look of the turtles, Will have to wait and see more of them.

The movie is going to be pretty exciting and things are going to blow up so it's going to do well in the box office.

This isnt turtles. Its all of the babies from the last Shrek movie. They grew up and became indestructible like Bruce Willis in the last two Die Hard movies.

Plus the fucking blue/orange coloring... Everywhere...

As terrible as this movie likely will be I'm still going to go watch it in theaters. I was a die hard TMNT fan as a kid. for a few years in a row me, 3 friends and one of there sisters would dress up as the Turtles and April for Halloween.

Fuck you Michael Bay...I'll give you my money but still, fuck you...

Meh. I've been a die-hard turtles fan for as long as I can remember and I don't think this is awful looking. It's definitely Michael Bay in a nutshell leading me to believe he had a lot more to do with the style of the thing than I'd hoped he would as a producer, but I don't think it will end up being all that bad. The turtles look fine, stylized and new, and anyone who thinks the older styles of turtles (any of them, at all) would work in today's market is fooling themselves.

I'm cautiously optimistic. I think the scene they showed at the end with Mikey trying to calm April down was very "turtles" and so I really think it has a chance.

I don't think that Shredder and O'Neil the elder had a deliberate hand in making the turtles as people on other forums seem to be harping on about. They'll probably still have a similar origin story with the science dudes trying to make a super-soldier or something instead of whatever the original TGRI goons were doing when the turtles were oozed.

I don't like the drastic change from the origin story that I loved, but I can deal with it, at least in the tiny amount of it that I'm aware of.

I don't understand why Shredder is white though. That's probably the only major gripe I have here.

On topic: It doesn't look too bad for me either. The April scene is quite similar to the cartoon's first episode (I think she even faints twice in there IIRC). I'm actually quite OK with the type of style they're going for going by the trailer, TMNT has always been a goofy/funny cartoon with awesome and badass fighting bits.
