This is just incredibly stupid. It's not just that the concept is idiotic, it's that these blockbuster Hollywood types think that they can insult our intelligence so easily. How could any movie exec think, "Yeah, this will make the fans love it."

I agree that we should alll @#$% michael Bay and that this movie is a terrible idea.

But i still thinks that this movie will be a hit, simply because of the kids. They will watch basicly anything that gets advetised right, and big companies know to exploit this. I saw this trend (at least in my country) on the transformer movies, avatar, etc. Most of the viewers were children. They will watch it because thats what the commercials and their friends tell them too

And many of these kids really dont give a shit about anyone over 20's opinion on that michael bay is butchering their cartoons, because they have not seen them, and it is old for them. Many of these precious childhood memories are not great because of their quality (some are though), but because they are childhood memories that we think of as good.

Because of this i think that no matter how outraged old school tmnt fans are, the filmmakers will not care, since they have a whole new generation too entertain and take hard earned allowances from :D

But yea, @#$% you michael bay

My sister and I liked to act the lines from the first movie when the turtles celebrate near the beginning:

"Awesome! Righteous! Bossanova!..."

"Eh...Chevy Nova?"

/faceplam..."ughh"

"Excellent! Yeah, gimme three!"

I don't trust mediocre movie directors with this legacy.

Why? Sure the series may have hit hard times since the last time i watched them but they are still an important part of the working classes childhood. Whats next? Flintstones, Jetsons?

BTW i think this will be the plot of the movie: The alien turtles must stop the evil vampires from using zombies to win a war against werewolves....than it turns out that shredder is also a zombie!
