Yeah it might be a bit rushed again. At least Korra's back. And the resolution is that she just needs to see her friends again. The episode was pretty standard.
They didn't change it to 20 episodes right? I feel like I heard a long time ago that this season would be longer.
For some reason I get the feeling Bolin and Korra will get together at the end. Bolin's having relationship issues. I'd prefer it if she remained independent. The series is short enough. We don't need to bother with forced romance.
Milo never dropped his father's lesson on commanding respect with the lemurs. He's so impressionable. Iggi's jealous. It sounds reasonable.
Might get the new Korra game. It seems like fun if it's anything similar to magicka. It seems single player though.
The reviews for it have been middling at best, but it might be worth a shot. Its only $15.

i dont think theyre done with korra yet. she accepted that her friends and the world need her and wants to be the avatar again and removing the poison unlocked the avatar state, but that doesnt mean she is over her fears already. there are still many episodes to come and i think theyll pick up on it again since the trailer still has some scenes which hint towards more of her development.
The game is quite nice actually. Totalbiscuit did a review on it here I gotta say, its pretty repetitive and has a, what i would call, disconnect between gameplay and lore, the first hour youre running around in republic city, smashing every single vase and satomobile to get "money", which makes absolutely no sense in the avatar universe. The graphicstyle and animations are beautiful though and the combat is rewarding and feels awesome. TB mentions some problems with the camera but i had no problem with that. For me it was definitely worth the 15€.
I really enjoyed the episode and was glad to see Toph actually be a huge help in Korra's recovery. I imagine that'll be the last we see of toph though .

I could see her showing up for the final boss fight or final episode but also wouldn't be surprised if that was it for her
I didn't care too much for this episode. Korra and Toph's part was good, really reminded me of Luke and Yoda in Empire Strikes back. But the airbender kids' part was tough to sit through. Reminded me of the first episode of TLA, or perhaps The Great Divide.

I'm suspicious of some anti-firebending bias from the creators, or at least a lack of interest in the element.
In all fairness, A:TLA focused heavily on firebending. Not only with the Fire Nation in general, but through Zuko, Aang himself and Sozin's Comet. It was firebending all over.

There wasn't much Fire Nation though. Half a season only, while the EK, all the air temples. and the water tribes got plenty of screen time.I'm fine with that though, because Zuko's story filled in the gaps quite nicely.
For once, we have an earthbender as the main villain, so I understand why they need to give earth so many new powers.
Ikki and Meelo were definitely childish, but I found their antics pretty funny I thought there were a lot of hilarious things in this episode, but I'm also glad that Toph got serious and told Korra what's up.

Eh, maybe I'm just spoiled by Zuko/Iroh/Azula in the original series. ^^;;
Still, would like to have seen some of the changes in the Fire Nation after the timegap.

Yeah I thought meelo was pretty funny and Ikki as well. I didn't mind the scenes.
Of course my favorite moments were the toph moments some of those quotes lol "I threw rocks at him, he became whiny and sokka fell into a hole.".

Even thou that is true, it felt you got to know so little about their culture and background, like if the whole firenation was zuku iroph azula and sozin.
