+ Show Spoiler + Korra feels horrible about being in a wheelchair because she still defines herself as the Avatar more than as an individual. An Avatar who can't walk is a weak Avatar and she's probably afraid that she'll never walk again. Also I hear it sucks to lose the ability to walk and depresses people.

Also I hear it sucks to lose the ability to walk and depresses people. + Show Spoiler + It's unclear whether she can walk or not. Could be it's just very painful, and she needs to stay off her feet. In any case, it leaves her feeling pretty powerless. Which, you know, is the ultimate irony for the most powerful being in the world. You can clearly sense that she does feel powerless and helpless, and that it gets to her deeply. We'll see how it goes. Anyway, I believe it was mentioned back when Book 3 started airing that Book 4 was almost complete too. I can't imagine that we'll have to wait a year, right? Right??

a small elite group of 4 guys that have super special abilities and can take on the best in the world. For the entire season you see only them - but when they run out of people to babysit suddenly there is a hidden army behind them I also laughed really hard when Zahir was flying and everyone was like "oooh ancient powa omg omg" and then Korra shows that pretty much any good firebender could do the same thing as the ancient super special ultra rare power Oh and the very random power up at the most convenient time of Bolin had me laughing as well :D and he could even have made it out without that ability

I feel like you're nit-picking. It was heavily implied that Zaheer and his group weren't the only members of the Red Lotus. The founder is cited, and it makes sense that there would be more people, since it is an ancient secret society (to quote Zaheer). Also, it is a secret power. Until now, no bender could actually fly. Korra (and before her, Ozai, Azula, Aang, and other firebenders) did not fly, she just propelled herself into the air. There is a difference. Zaheer was literally levitating and flying. And well, Bolin.. you had to see it coming, what with the failed metalbending attempts. It is a kid's show after all, even if it got pretty dark this season.

Zaheer's flying seems to be effortless. Besides, the only one who could really fly that was not an avatar was Ozai during a comet. In every scene azula used it, it was only as a boost for a jump.

I think its quite silly that balance in the world only exist because there is one being more powerful than anyone else. Its like a dictatorship and that people can be lucky that the avatar is naturally a good being.

That was a good build up of the constant mentioning of Guru Laghima, though. + Show Spoiler + Once Zaheer lost his last earthly tie with P'li's death, he could finally become wind.

Once they used the sleep darts on her in the previous episode, I pretty much knew their plan was to poison Korra and then try to destroy the avatar line. Solid all around and a good set up for next season. Also, they didn't kill off the villain, so they can bring him back if they want. Of course we know Korra is going to recover at some point, but it gives the series to good spot to focus on some other characters. Plus the return of the Avatar will be a fun episode.

I'm not nip-picking at all, I just stated what thoughts amused me during the dark episodes the show is going through. Maybe I am wrong in my assumptions, it doesn't change the fact that I did laugh about those things and that shouldn't really bother anyone ![]()

The superior plan to fight the Avatar.
