The antibenders, they were also a brilliant idea, I hope they have gunpowder weapons would make everything much more interesting It's anyone's opinion, and I don't really care because most people are bound to like it. It went above my expectations, but only because my expectations were low to begin with.

I didn't think the first episode was that great, but I really enjoyed the second episode (pro-bending is sick). Before some of you give up on it though, remember that it has only been two episodes. One could argue that the first two episodes of A:TLA weren't super amazing either... The animation was amazing as usual, and I trust the writers to put together another awesome series.

And in this series, seems like power levels are much lower. Still have to watch further and see better fighters. I think they are lower. Zuko, Azula, Katara, Aang, Toph are all prodigies in bending. Zuko and Azula are able to defeat most adult benders, and Katara and Toph mastered their bending at an early age. Sokka and Zuko are also very proficient with the sword, with Sokka being more strategical. I think in the Legend of Korra, we only have Korra, Mako, and Bolin, with Korra being a genius in all except airbending, and Mako and Bolin showing potential. So right now, we only really have Korra. Edit: Oh and Tenzin.

So far we've seen random gang members, the police, and sport-benders. It'd be ludicrous if they were on the level of Zuko or Azula.

And yes, you kind of have to watch all of the seasons just to get all of the continuity. There are a several episodes that are skippable, but they're scattered throughout, and few and far between.
