I like Amon and Jinora more. 2. Probending is lame. 3. I hated every moment that they spent on implying a romantic subplot.

The following part contains a few minor spoilers of events in the first 2 episodes + Show Spoiler + For some reason it's just not that interesting. I'll definitely keep watching though. It seems to me the characters weren't really properly introduced to begin with, the second episode Korra has already abandoned her tribe village life and moved to the city, she seems to be completely okay with that. Then that Tensen guy, he just bores me. I'm not really sure how they should otherwise portray an old air bending teacher who's a son of Aang, but how they're doing it right now doesn't work for me. Also the fire bending team is just a set of the most boring characters ever. ( from what I've seen and am expecting) the one guy who is really enthusiastic and wants to be a friend to Korra. And the other 'I dont give a crap about you' cynical dude that will over the course of the series start to like Korra more and more and they will become good friends/kiss each other. edit: seems ZNF feels about the same

One of the very few main character females who aren't overly sexualized and is completely competent in and of herself, as well. Loving this show already. Also the Zuko's mom shoutout.

It involved two siblings fishing, a hyper-active kid breaking out of the ice, and penguin sledding.

After a less than impressive opening you'd think they'd learn right? I'd argue that Korra's opening is worse than the first two episodes of TLA. At least those episodes actually did something.

I disagree 100% me and all my friends loved it (we 22-28) We loved the city, the mobsters, we loved the pro bending matches, we loved zinten (or whatever his name was), we loved korra, her fire ferret teammaters, the idea of a tournaments. The antibenders, they were also a brilliant idea, I hope they have gunpowder weapons would make everything much more interesting
