Since day 1 i really dont like this series. The voice actors are... bland. maybe it's because they're older but there is lack of emotion and emphasis. It is true that this series is moving alot faster but I feel it has lost its touch. The funny humour factor. The cool characters. I'm just gona stop watching this and preserve my image of avatar, until my friends tell me it actually gets better

Psh, even without sozins comet it wouldn't even be close. Just look at Toph's introductory episode, now THAT was pro-bending. Straight Gladiator style.

That picture with "Why you hatin" is just so damn meme worthy I'd be severely disappointed if that didn't actually happen

Aang and Saka(sp?) had really good voice actors imo. I don't quite like the actors this time around aside from the lead actress, but I'm fine with it as long as the main characters have strong personalities. But how can you argue a series has lost its touch when it just started, lol? It's definitely different from TLA, which I think is a good thing. They've set this miniseries up to have an identity of its own. Regarding the humor factor, I hated the humor (aka Saka) for two seasons before finally warming up to him somewhat. The humor was designed to make children laugh, not adults. If you liked the childish humor, then so be it...but the first few episodes are not meant to be funny, anyway. I hope the comic relief will be good when it does come though.

That and Korra's design screams "strong independent chick."

Series creators have been known to troll viewers with romantic leads. Wouldn't read too much into anything until they actually make out.

I find current benders pathetic compared to ones in TLA. Zuko vs Azula fight at the end, amount of fire they could produce. And in this series, seems like power levels are much lower. Still have to watch further and see better fighters. Yeah and I'm infinitely glad that this is true. Glad that they didn't go the DBZ route and have everyones abilities just exponentially grow season to season.

It would be incredibly dynamic in just the jealousy undertones alone. Also a weird thing I came across when I went to remind myself who Amon was, apparently on the Avatar Wiki they have his fighting style listed as chi blocking, with one of the sources listed as San Deigo Comic Con. So something may have been revealed there but I'm really curious if he has a back story based around Ty Lee. Just to go completely off the wall with speculation, what if Ty Lee opened a school to teach chi blocking and thats where the anti-bending movement started?

There is no connection between Ty Lee and the anti-bending movement. http://avatar.wikia.com/wiki/Chi_blocking One of the co-creators of avatar commented that chi blocking is not unique to Ty Lee. It was a practice that was before her and other people knew it.
