Good quality torrent is up on demonoid for those wondering + Show Spoiler + Kinda disappointed in Lin though. She keeps going for metal bending vs equalists when earth bending is a much much safer choice. | ||

Given the show's heavy use of actual asian martial arts, philosophy, mythology and culture in their world building, I think there is a lot of validity to this theory. Also, Iroh. There are a couple of reasons fo that. 1. He doesn't use the form Aang used to energybend. 2. When Aang energybent he always seemed exchausted and barely able to stand. Amon doesn't even flinch, at all. Amon's just probably chi blocking weirdly or blood bending specific routes or something. I definitely have to agree with this. At first when it was just Amon doing it, it could have been a stylistic change for Korra, but when they had the episode where both did it at the same time, its obvious whatever Amon is doing, its not the same thing. I personally agree in that its probably an advanced form of chi blocking. I might even see it as he absorbs their power somehow. Not that he can bend, but that he has the underlying power of them (like resisting bloodbending etc) But thats just because Im trying to explain his resistance to blood bending lol | ||

Yes, Amon isn't energy bending, he is chi blocking. The Third eye chakra is super important and amon goes for it each time he blocks their bending. ( I pointed this out pages ago!) | ||

I think Korra will figure out a way to return her bending. If the avatar can remove bending I feel they should be able to return it. | ||
