I mean look at Aangs Grand-offspring. Genora seems to be like 12 or so. I would assume that new Iroh is at least in his 30's. (very odd if he's a general at a younger age)

If Zuko was in his early 20s when he had children and his son or daughter were in their early 20s when they had children, General Iroh could be Zukos grandson.

Assuming he had a kid in his 20s his daughter could've had Iroh in her 30s and the ages would still fit.

Especially after today's episode. I actually hope that they don't do that. Would make all the casualties really goofy if you can just quick fix it later on. Lin's sacrifice means more if her loss of bending is permanent, as sad as that is. Great episode overall, can't wait for the finale.

Aang is always facing the target and has to go into the Avatar State to do it. Amon as seen in todays episode willingly goes behind the target to "take away" their bending and after its over the target looks like they got knocked out, kind of like when Ty Lee would do her chi blocking moves to people.

Also, Aang and Amon use different chakras to "take away" their targets bending. The Lion Turtle taught Aang how to energy bend and he uses the forehead and heart, as Amon uses the forehead and back of the neck. Something smells fishy.

Like maybe something to do with the mind and making them believe they can't bend anymore, closing one of the Chakra's or something. And yeah the loss wouldnt be as bad, but it is a kids show, and it would make for a happier ending in the end.

Here's a little something I stumbled upon. It looks fucking epic. :D + Show Spoiler + ![]() Amon is NOT taking it away permanently. There are a couple of reasons fo that. 1. He doesn't use the form Aang used to energybend. 2. When Aang energybent he always seemed exchausted and barely able to stand. Amon doesn't even flinch, at all. Amon's just probably chi blocking weirdly or blood bending specific routes or something.

Remember in the first series when Aang closed the w/e chakra that dealt with letting go and he couldn't go into the Avatar State until he could let go of Katara? Ya..something tells me its nothing more than advance chi blocking.

and regarding that last scene: + Show Spoiler + I would think it is probably Zuko's son as opose to grnadson given the name. Its been 70 years since TLA so Zuko is around 86 now which assuming New Iroh is like 30ish means he was born when Zuko was in his 50s, which is the same age Tenzin is NOW when his 4rth kid was just born. I'm guessing New Iroh is probably the younger Zuko kid as well comapred to his older sister who is acting fire-lord.
