By far the best episode this season, I was shitting myself thinking crixus (one of the few characters i care about) was about to get his throat cut. though i'm really starting to notice quite a few maori actors in the show, the accent's pretty jarring coming from supposed syrians and gauls...

Ashur is a great bad guy, glabber needs to step it up though

For next week i'm betting either:

Crixus and Oenamaeus chained up getting tortured at the ludus. Freed by Gannicus' heroics
OR
Crixus vs Oenamaeus exhibition match in the arena, they fight back to back vs guards instead of duelling, saved by gannicus.

To be followed by gannicus dealing with oenamaeus' rage at being cuckolded

This is shaping up to be a sweet season :D

I'm thinking about re-watching season 1 but I'm afraid I will miss andy too much when I watch the new season... might sound kind of weird, but Spartacus is one of the few series that I'm actually emotionally ''invested'' in, and I feel quite strongly for certain characters

Just finished watching EP3.... Seriously why the fuck was Spartacus just watching in the end?

Other than that, I love the series, but some decisions that the characters do in some scenes are dumb

...

Crixus had to hold them back so they could get the key and open the gate. Notice how the guards and Crixus were about 3 feet away from the group of them all. They couldn't have dreamed to beat the Romans, unarmed, in that tight of a space so Crixus had to hold them off as they opened the gate and relocked it.

Not to mention, people do stupid shit for love. Crixus did what he thought was best to save Naevea.

I just watched the first episode and I found it really good. I just hope they can keep it up. I hope the new sparticus and make the role his own. I also hope this series can have a different main antagonist other than Glaber (he's the most boring character ever in comparison to Batiatus).

I believe the show airs friday night in USA, so I usually watch the episodes on saturday morning ^^
