Can anyone link that ? I think the blog is somewhere on this website but good luck if you can't read korean. http://comic.naver.com/webtoon/list.nhn?titleId=183559&no=46&weekday=monAlso, I mentioned that he talks about different things in the ToG universe, not that he goes into the time skip. He talks about high rankers and other characters. For example, people like Phantasmium (sp) who is an irregular, the #1 ranker and an "exis" (a man-made god). There was more info about exis in the past but the author deleted his old story when he started ToG which had to do with some of that stuff so yeah, it's still a mystery (also we don't know if the stuff he had written back then he still considers part of the story since it's deleted). He gives more info about other characters. I just get bits of info from a manga website where people talk about the blog without really translating it. Sometime the scanlation group puts some text about random people at the end of the manga that they take from the blog. For f..k sake.... Like some dude who posted here said,i hope my kids will see the end of this story,if i can't. It's the same as another manga which i already mentioned in my older post,Megatokyo. It's really interesting but the author updates it when he is in the mood (which is like 1-2 per month). Or i could start learning korean...or maybe not :<.
???
This is updated weekly and scanlated every week as well. I'm not sure why you're comparing it to some manga which updates monthly.

i liked the first arc alot more. The alligator lol. I miss him.

Read this manga last weekend. First Arc was very good, ending kinda sucked though. But why start all over like this when he introduced so many cool chars and all and now he is gonna ruin everything by introducing a bunch of losers?? Doesnt make any sense...
|
So i guess that guy showed him the hand of the devil eh? I too miss the alligator and koon and a few others from the first arc, however i'm not about to write this arc off yet though.
|
So I started the second arc and I'm only 3 chapters in but it's just not as good as arc 1. I'm going to give it a few more chapters, but I miss the main characters a lot already.
EDIT: I just finished chapter 14 and I am still not a fan of this arc yet. + Show Spoiler +Killing Rapedevil "offscreen" was pretty lame, unless I am somehow missing a couple pages somewhere.
|
I read the whole series today, and I have to agree: the first arc was just a lot better. The ending fell flat - I was kind of hoping they'd set off on an adventure up in the same mold of storytelling as One Piece or HxH.
The new blonde dude just isn't particularly interesting. I don't really know how I feel about this iteration of Baam.

Manhwa is getting mainstream attraction now. In Toronto last month, there were two exhibits on Korean Art and there was a section on manhwa. I`d say the art and the comics narrative still needs some maturity and definitely has to set itself apart from what people traditionally consider Asian comics (read: Manga).

I'm just going to put this comment here.
If you don't like Manga but you like comics, you'll probably enjoy Manhwa.
Give this series a try imo, I have given it to people who don't like manga/anime and they enjoyed it quite a bit.

Pretty good series thus far. Read it over the course of a couple days. I now have it inserted nicely into my weekly reading ^_^
|
though, the one boon of part ii is that baam no longer resembles/acts like/is shioon from the breaker.

Yes and also the fact that 1 per week is not enough.I've never been so addicted to a manga/manhwa in my life.
I want to move on to the cooler parts faster.
That is what i meant.
And no,the ending of season 2 was not that bad.Was actually good.
Being betrayed by the one you would give your life for....means you're either fully transformed and/or coming for vengeance.
I have to go now, more of this ranting later.

started this last week, finished it yesterday so far, it's pretty good. agreed that first arc was much better, allowed you to get absorbed into the main character and his dreams, and how he wanted to fulfill lahel's dreams no matter what. It was someone you could rally behind, an underdog genius who doesn't know it yet kinda thing. The ending just ended up being a 'Lost' moment, like, wut, wait, she's walking? wait, wut, and left you with more questions than answers, and then the 2nd season doesn't even give you any closure on that, all you know is that Baam is now apparently part of a terrorist group, is uber bad ass now, but has no motives yet, and no one knows anything of the original crew except that Yuri still thinks Baam is hot, and that Hatsu was defeated (does this mean killed?) by that devil guy.
need moar...

am i wierd taht i hate reading manga that in colour?

I kind of like this manga. The tests are very stupid though. At least most of them.
And the Black March was shown then thrown away as a character. I hated that.

i'm loving these cus its color lol. and scrolling down to read is amazing.
i'm caught up on tower of god, noblesse, and god of highschool, all in a week, waiting a week for a new one is fcking agonizing, must not read for couple of months...now reading jiwon, interesting so far. i just read the new tower of god and the suspense of waiting for next episode is killing me.
this thread has ruined me, not interested in manhwa to completely addicted. XD

I'm really liking how everything is developing so far. The author seems to have a lot of things already laid out, and I really appreciate an internally consistent world.
But in the current game, if Viole really wanted to "win" easily without hurting anyone else, all he had to do was visit the regulars and break their connectors to disqualify them. Still, that'd probably be pretty boring, so the current story arc is nice the way it is.

new chapter up ~~
+ Show Spoiler +holy fuck, getting me this hyped and having to wait for next week is something usually Oda has patent on. Holy shit shit shit, it just got real. I like the way that Viole is OP, not DBZ op just regularily badass OP
|
Great manhwa, too bad i catched up, and i have to wait (patiently -_-) for every chapter. I hate that. Also i believe the other competitors at floor 20 will somehow pass because the characters and backstories were laid out.
Better than noblesse Better art and story. Also if you are impatient, raws are available on monday at naver.
There are also stats(official) somewhere and on wikia if you are interested. For example princess who finger poked "smiling sheep" is only 500th in ranking.
