Other then that its a good film, probably elevated due to it's cast putting on a convincing performance. + Show Spoiler + The kid's downfall comes a little too suddenly and the movie felt a little short. I think they could have put some more time into that. | ||

I thought the character development was pretty good, yea it felt short, but there kinda wasn't anything left for them to do really; they did school like 3 time, did 2 parties, played with their powers a ton, the arc with the kids dad was decently fleshed out. Idn i was pretty satisfied with the movie; especially considering my usual strong distaste for the "found footage" genre. | ||

kind've dumb found footage kind've thing, especially considering they 'lost' his camera in the cave at the start of the movie. i felt rather bad for the main character until the end where he lashed out unexpectedly, i didn't really think that he'd crack like that. | ||

Even from the previews I thought it was mightily apparent that the main character was not living to the conclusion of the film. I thought it was a pretty good movie, and that's coming from someone who fucking despises found footage movies. It wasn't like an award winning piece by any stretch of the imagination; but for what its trying to do it works really well. | ||
