What does everyone think about next weekend instead? IE: Friday 11th.
Quite a way's away so there will be a little bit of a wait, but it will give time for people to not make plans and leave that day open :D.
Btw: Aylear and I are already working on setting up the Synchtube and some idea's we can do for fun. There will also be some prizes! not quite sure on the idea yet, some sort of trivia perhaps. Either way it should be a fun event whenever the time/day! :D
Edit- Also might wanna vote/requesta list of a few video's for intermissions. Music, PMVs etc...
I'd be much more in favour of Friday the 11th; I'll skip my FNM to watch the whole thing with TL for sure. I'd do it this week, but I'm probably going to a big tournament on Saturday so I need the practice.
As for additional media suggestions, I'd be happy to offer my opinions on them. We should all get together in IRC sometime.
In the vain of recruiting SC2 community celebs as bronies, maybe you guys should give Artosis a try, he seems to like animals a lot and he's not self conscious about these things
As for myself, I watched all episodes up till now and enjoyed them quite a bit. Wouldn't call myself a brony, but I definitely don't dislike the series. Fluttershy definitely seems a bit OP though ^^
I would much prefer this friday, but if our resident fanatic brony needs it to be the 11th, I can settle with that as well. Especially since when I made the polls, I put in the first one (THIS WEEKEND, aka the 4th) to which everyone responded, "NEED MORE TIME". Thereafter, I posted the next with 4 dates, one of which was the 4th. Of course that was the exact one that got the most votes rofl.
I did find that poll thing a bit odd. If I'm one of the only ones that is like "ZOMG NEXT WEEK PLZ", then don't feel obligated to fence everything around me. At the end of the day, I'm just one person and since I'm not running this, I don't feel I deserve a special say in the matter. Obviously I'd very much like to participate in such a sweet TL brony event, since I consider this my "brony home," but if I can't make it, I can't make it.

Well, Artosis did identify my shirt right away and complimented me on it at BlizzCon, and after that Tasteless pointed at me and said something like "oh shit My Little Pony! Awesome!". That backed up by Tasteless dropping a "10 seconds flat" reference the next day is causing me to wonder. If Artosis really does respond to all his non-troll PMs, he might confirm/deny if he's a brony or not, since I slipped that in there when I PM'd him thanking him for the autograph and photo op. As you can see from the photo, my shirt is quite a subtle pony shirt. If you recognize it, you are either a brony or know what bronies are, almost guaranteed.
I'll be writing up a post shortly, detailing the mare-a-thon, what we'll be doing, where it'll be, all that good stuff. In it, I'll include a few specific polls asking people for availabilities, especially time of day. That way we can get a good idea of when people are going to be able to show.
I'm still scheming a bit behind the scenes (yes, there's going to be some kind of prize giveaway). Once that's all done, I'll put a much more detailed post up. Don't worry, it'll be totally bitching! After all, I'm the resident eloquent apex of human enlightenment!

Haha, Artosis also used the phrase "what in tarnation" last night on GSL. Still, more than likely just a bunch of coincidences.

I think you guys are looking to hard. Way too hard. Those guys cast a lot, and the three instances now are all pretty common expressions, the oatmeal one in particular is *really* farfetched. Completely unrelated, but my biggest disappointment with mlp so far is how Derpy is now officially Derpy and not Ditzy Doo. Ditzy Doo is such a cute, awesome and fitting name, while it's just mean to name someone Derpy. I can't believe the creators listen to immature 4chan people.
I understand a lot of people like that her name is Derpy, and how it shows those responsible for the show listen to the fan community, but come on, just listen to it - Ditzy Doo is a great name!
