No kidding. I hope this guy's getting paid a ton because the amount of details he put into his art work is unparalleled. This elf explanation doesn't make sense to me though. I thought the kid was a portion of Casca's deformed child, though I suppose that's Griffith's body now. Poor Casca, still makes me angry. They had something beautiful.

well we're better off with an elf than with something else, there aren't many good forces in this world. And given how we just had 3 chapters on how guts was once saved by an elf it sort of makes sense.
Still I hope we don't have too much elf/mermaid talk and more of guts' story in the upcoming chapters, that one allusion to the eclipse was worth more than farnese's whole character to me

Schreike doesn't even know that Guts and Casca had a child, so she jumps to conclusions. It has been pretty solidified that the child is in fact Casca's and Guts' ( it is very attracted to them, and appeared when Griffith started using its body ).

It was released on the 5th. Given how long it took last time to translate I would calculate that it will be ready to watch January 7th. :D

I think that some creators feed off of the positive energy of their readers in a positive way. Meaning they strive to work on their manga and finish it because they have this productive symbiotic relationship with their fans. I've always felt like Miura has the opposite. The more the fans enjoy his manga and the more they want it, the more he seems to feel it necessary for him to not make it.

Or perhaps it's a sign of how big he's gotten and how significant Berserk is, since I can't imagine in the US who made comic books being this late with their work and this inconsistent and still being employed.
