There are so much deep psychological character development in the ant arc that you don't see from any other manga. And he brutally killed them after spending years of building them up. if they nuke him in the middle of the palace, all the civilian are ganna die along with it. Those civilians serves three purposes, food, new soldiers and hostages. Just because you are shallow and don't give much thought into what you read doesn't mean it's boring and anticlimactic for the rest of us. | ||

I also thought the ant arc was brilliant and outside the box compared to other mangas that would introduce random plot events and powerups to beat a strong enemy. The drawings were very disappointing though, if they were half decent it would have been a much more enjoyable read. | ||
