Hardkor 44 is Baginski's film (most likely entirely CGI) about Warsaw Uprising during WWII. Check out the concept art: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Link to high-res art pack: http://www.hardkor44.pl/press/hardkor44.zip Damn, I'm getting hard when I think about this movies...

So far his works were really balanced, even when it comes to historical events. And he got nominated for Oscar once (for this). His collaborations with Dukaj (SF author) show that he knows and "feels" SF. Their previous colab was in form of a book (written by Dukaj and illustrated by Baginski) which was SF set in the realities of People's Republic of Poland, with communism and what not. There were some historical facts mixed in with fiction and they were highly praised by our Ministry of Education for finding new forms of delivering historical knowledge to younger generation which is usually bored to death with such subjects. I believe we can expect top notch stuff, which is just set in certain reality, not reenacting history.

Dark of the Moon, Nazi's from the dark side of the moon... yeah, you get it.) Can't wait! It has a 7.5 million euro budget... Dark of the Moon has 195 million dollars. So I guess thats a compliment.

I am afraid not many people outside of Germany will get or appreciate everything, but I hope it's still enjoyable for everyone. Anyway truly amazing experience. Also incredibly how good the CGI looks for a 7mio production.

Thanks for sharing, gonna watch asap. <333 How is the german version? My guess is this might be one of the few films where the german version could beat the english one. =D PS: I must find a way to sneak Jan van Helsing fans into this movie. huehuehuehuehue.

The movie is SO full of references to other movies / internet memes it's hilarious. There were moments where the entire audience burst out laughing just over recognizing a scene from another movie. Sometimes it was just a few people who got the subtler references. Again you would probably have to be German to appreciate some of it, but there is humor in the movie for everyone I think :-)
