Ya I didn't get the significance of that walker... I got the significance of it: the dead are walking around and there's nothing notable about it. Shane is totally jaded.
My point is that driving away from the farm, the field is on the right.
And then driving back to the form, the field is still on the god damn right.

On 'The Talking Dead' they said it was the same zombie. I don't know though, it looked the exact same I double checked the only problem is like the poster above you said, same side of the car driving there or back.
I don't know, I just kind of assume they made a mistake with that part, just like they did with a LOT of things this episode. It was still a really really great episode imo though.
Edit: Chronix is probably right, my mistake.

Why did the zombie cross the road? heh heh
I liked the episode. Rick is finally growing some balls, I still like that he didn't leave Shane in the bus though. As much as I hate Shane, I hope this straightens him out. Otherwise, kill him off.

I'm tired of people complaining that the Sophia plotline took too long. I bet none of you have seen Dragon BAll Z and haven't developed patience. Obviously the writers of this show know its power level is over 9000 and will make it last over 300 episodes so just chill out and enjoy the drama (which comes first in this show, zombies second).

What about the scene when Rick and Shane are looking over the dead cops and Shane says, "... they don't have any bite marks..." and Rick dismisses it as, "... they must of been scratched...". Foreshadow much....
And the lone Zombie in the field symbolized that... ummm.. well there's a zombie in a field.
The action this episode was good.
Tho, I still can't wrap my mind around cutting your hand to attract a zombie. In a world where there's an infection that's highly contagious, why would you readily make it easier for you to get infected by inflicting an open wound on yourself?
Yes, I understand, "conserve ammo.. bla bla.." But, making yourself more susceptible to infection to conserve ammo doesn't seem like a good trade off to me...
I also agree with Pandemic on the editing error in this episode. By showing us the few tense moments that happen in the episode, at the beginning of the episode, they only take away the suspense of those few tense moments.
I also don't get the whole saving Randy thing. 100% with Shane on this one. Kill the Kid, get back to camp, and start worrying about yourself and your family.

next 2 episodes willl have little to no walkers...season finale is farm being overrun...
just an opinion.
voted to save him...he's able bodied and shane can always kill him later...

Have there been many zombies since the season has started up again?
Really don't know if its worth watching it anymore. Rewatched Season one the other day and feel so cheated for what it used to be.

Ya I didn't get the significance of that walker... I got the significance of it: the dead are walking around and there's nothing notable about it. Shane is totally jaded. I would agree, Shane snapped a long time ago, and this whole episode was kind of a Rick trying to 'wake' him up from that state.
This shot specifically I think sums up the entirety of what Shane has become. He may not be a walker but he's just as violent and just as crazy/unpredictable, and the purposefulness of that shot, and then the walkers emerging from it kind of drove the point home.

Able bodied? His leg is fucked!
He shot at Rick, Glen, and Hershel. He will burden the group's resources. Get rid of him and protect your family and the group you've already established.

I feel the exact same way, I loved that shot too, it was really well thought out and put together. I really hope they don't kill shane off he is actually really entertaining to watch, while I like rick and Daryl the most on the show, Shane is great entertainment.

I don't know what Shane's deal is.
I get that he loves Lori and Carl. And that the unborn baby might be his. But Rick's back and it's time for Shane to assume the loving 'Uncle' role. If he and Rick could but there ideologies aside and work together, the group would be much stronger.
Besides, what does he need Lori for anyway? He's already banged Andrea, and she's way hotter than Lori. He should just hook up with Andrea and problem solved. I'm I right?

On the whole "Would you kill Randal" thing.
I would've helped him, fix his leg, let him heal and then drop him off somewhere. No problem.
Then he mentions he knew Maggie and her family. If I was in their position I would've killed Randal right near that school bus. It doesn't matter if Maggie wouldn't know who he is. Theres a possibility he knows where the farm is and the fact that he was in a group that tried to kill you shows he has a home to go back to and bring back trouble. Theres no point in taking a risk when you don't have to.

I don't understand it either. There's something inside me that tells me that I'd never have sex with my friends wife. Not to mention, in a zombie apocalypse why are you even bothering with sex! I love sex n' all, but come on!

I agree 100%. As soon as he mentions Maggie, I shoot him dead. It's a dog eat dog world. Sorry kid

I do like this show, but it's just painful to see how many fuck ups there are in every episode. (More specifically this season)
Like the whole cutting the hand with the same knife you just killed a walker with....... How stupid are the people that make this show?
He could have easily bit his lip and spat the blood on the door, or knocked himself in the nose, even biting his damn finger would work.

Which means that I don't think the virus is as potent as people might think.

i wanted the under-card to Rick vs Shane to be Maggie vs Andrea. A throwdown woulda been hot. yeah lori - you go break them up, yea...good scene!!
I like that they are touching around the "how" of it.
The only time i really felt something was when Rick was getting ready to leave Shane. I was like ah, gonna pull a Shane and try to do it but totally not do it. I was right.
I think I've come closer to understanding the Rick character. Whatever he thinks he is gonna do, he will reconsider and do something else instead. Stellar leadership skills Rick.
Shane is a big angry baboon that wishes he could huk monkey wrenches at all their problems. Food? eat crowbar!!
I think Randall should lead. He is witty, capable, super-human healing abilities, "spiritual" connection to Hershel. No insane best friend/ wife to complicate leadership decisions. Fits comfortably into the back of a "very" tiny car. I'm all for it.
