Discussing the show and past episodes is fine. Do not put things that have happened in the TV series in spoilers. However, don't spoil things from the books that may happen in future episodes. Put book spoilers in spoiler tags with a CLEAR WARNING that it is from the book.

All they do is build drama and tension, but in no way do I fear a 'random' death of a main character. Yeah, this is really worse than in the comic, where you could feel the plot shield for Rick and Karl, but everyone else was basically fair game. Many died, some where important other not, some you expected them to die some not, some died in a rather meaningful way while others just got randomly killed. It gave real tension to the story.

On the move = more walkers which for me would be a good thing.

+ Show Spoiler + I went to AMC to check the times for it and it said the plot for next episode that Shane was going to be alive so its like yea hes in this bus in a situation where he should die but I know he won't. You see rick leaving and theres not even a shred of doubt hes coming back. There needs to be more of a any character can die at any moment feeling instead of the main characters are like people from lord of the rings, just charge into a situation you can't win and still come out perfectly fine. These people are not super humans except for that guy they rescued he is like a super human, heals wounds that he shouldn't within a week.

He was just blurting out things that might prompt them to reconsider, and well.. It helped, although not for the better ![]() He didn't know to bring it up, he just stupidly shouted it out in desperation, and you could see he regretted it the second he said it

Thankfully didn't look past that, but you gotta spoiler this dude. Some of us don't want any spoilers, of any kind.

Or perhaps it was just some random scene that means nothing and we shouldn't care. was about to ask something about that. thought that was a foreshadowing that shane knew there was walkers there and decided not to tell rick so he could leave him there (but that actually makes no sense considering how far they drove) that symbolic theory does make sense a bit but it's clear that andrea (with a bit of t-dog) aggres with him at least, so maybe not. still curious wtf that random walker meant

Then why does Lori put food in the fridge, and why does it have a working light inside? just something i caught. Wish it was more like the books. Hershel has a generator on the farm. It was made clear in an earlier episode.

It's getting a bit old listening to the borderline misogynistic crap about not wanting to see the "whining bitches" back at the farm though. As Lori said, it is hugely important in that situation to try to develop some normalcy or stability in order to help morale and give people a sense of purpose, hope, and community. And given the situation they're in and the group dynamics, it makes sense that that falls a little more on the women, who tend to be more vulnerable and less well prepared to deal with security issues than the ex cops, red-neck hunter and other men, who tend to be stronger, faster, and/or have more experience with guns. It would be disingenuous of the show to pretend that the only issues that threaten the group are walkers. I think it's great that they also touch on other subtler issues, especially the group structure and dynamics.

And I agree with the lack of fuel issue but I would want a F-350 or equivalent large truck to use when going into a zombie dense areas and to recon new locations. Throw a big cattle catcher on the front lift the truck up and put some type of steel mesh over the windows to zombie proof it. And maybe if you have time you could put a canopy on the back and knock out the back of the cab so you could have a huge area for storage or for people. You could have gun slots so you could use the truck as an APC. Idk that probably just my inner redneck coming out. Fuel wouldn't be THAT rare I mean every single car that was abandoned would have fuel. You could easily siphon large amounts of fuel fairly safely.

Hopefully with the ratings and the bitching by the community the budget goes up. remember AMC doesn't own the walking dead, so the owners can sit there and say we want x amount of money we felt you improperly funded us last season. And its not like another network isn't going to pick up the show. On the move = more walkers which for me would be a good thing. Actually I'm 99% sure they do own TWD. Everyone on the show is at AMC's mercy. It isn't like Breaking Bad or Mad Men.

SPOILER Shane is thinking of infecting Rick with the virus. The part where he looks at the random walker is just him thinking can he do it to his friend. Now the real reason why I think that is because they found out that you could get infected only by a scratch and Shane happened to cut off the fingers of a walker when he pushed the bus doors!! All he needs to do is scratch Rick with one of the fingers and everything will be fine for him. Shane thinks Rick wouldn't kill him because then his son and wife wouldn't be so protected.

I could be wrong I thought they owned the TV rights, but not the actual tv show which is why they have to re-order etc. I have a buddy who lives for this stuff, he always talks comic vs show and he prob just confused the crap out of me.
