In any survival scenario if you assume there there is an abundance of any commodity and don't ration you are just asking for trouble imo. Regardless of what it is.
Anyways all of this over the argument of the viability of one car in the zombie apocalypse. Safe to say Hyundai got their money's worth.
I just hate the fact that ive see so many military things in some of the episodes.. And yet they dont have any of it.. and by military things i mean alot of things you can assume is there.. Still havnt seen one automatic weapon? not an Humvee for going to town to ration/scavange?
For what? A couple cars and a generator? It'd be more work than it's worth, imo, to be fetching gas to run the generator 24/7, and they don't even NEED it 24/7.
I didn't like in episode 9 when Shane tells Rick's wife that he Rick got back home to the cottage safely but he's (Shane) out looking for her and she believes that Rick would just stay at the cottage? Seems out of character that Rick would get back to the cottage, find out his wife is out in the middle of the night looking for him and he lets Shane go off looking for her by himself considering he's always trying to save people but not his own wife?
He said what he needed to say to get her back to the farm. I agree that what he did was the best thing to do, even if it meant implying Rick had been horribly hurt or something.

Do you think that Rick's wife would believe Rick would get back home safely then find out she's out in the middle of the night looking for him but not do anything about it? I think he's the type of person who wants to save everyone, particular his wife!
I think she was probably in shock, and even if she wasn't, implying that Rick was unable to come out for her himself would only motivate her to get back faster.
Man if that wandering walker is ottis. Holy shitstorm lol. I was trying to figure out who Randell was when I realized you all were talking bout the outsider dude lol. I didn't even catch his name and I just watched the episode last night lol. I think I'd be ok if he bit it or they kill him off like they had been talking about near the end of last nights episode.

In the episode that he was 1st brought to the farm, i'm sure he overheard. And before they left he may have had anything on his eyes or ears. But I also did notice this and found it quite strange
Lori does some stupid shit destroys a car and however much fuel was there and she could have died in a hostage type situation too. No one says a thing.
Andrea complained about her destroying the car, but I agree it wasn`t enough.
Another thing that felt weird was how they never questioned the kid about the other group. How large, location, supplies etc. I mean, Shane should at least make the case for torturing him, right?
I don't get it. What do you expect them to do? They're not exactly living in a well structured society.
Lori go sit in the time out corner and think about what you did!
Besides, I don't want my episode to be filled up with 30 minutes of them bitching at Lori/Andrea for screwing something relatively minor up.
Almost killing someone after being told not to shoot however many times is minor...? also shooting over the heads of other people in the group which is also stupid as fuck is minor?
Randomly leaving the group almost dying, destroying a car, and then forcing someone to risk their own ass is minor?
I would at least expect someone to give Andrea shit for being reckless.
As for Andrea "keeping watch" when was the last time a zombie actually came through the field? Honestly what does sitting on the roof of the RV tanning accomplish for the group? Cooking and cleaning is much more helpful imo. Andrea could even go scavenging if she wants because shes convinced shes so badass.
it's kinda funny that their original goal was to find a safe haven, not settle on a little farm that would mean instant death if zombies appeared from nowhere like they already did at the campsite or the highway.
now that lori is pregnant, all of a sudden they want to stay at the farm? even the characters with no ties to lori and rick?
surely it's in everyone's best interest to keep the group moving... there's gotta be a million more secure locations than a farm. even from a viewer point of view, the show would be far more entertaining in an urban environment.
Didn't enjoy this episode too much. 1/4 of it was just the women (all of them) being stupid, as usual. Why do we even care about a subplot involving Beth, a character whom I honestly did not even remember existed until she passed out after the barn incident? Lori and Andrea's argument felt so scripted I wanted to vomit. Andrea leaves a confused and suicidal girl alone and basically tells her "do what you want". Yeah, that's NOT how you handle someone who's suicidal by the way.
The fight between Rick and Shane also felt very forced. All of the stuff Rick has been through, and he loses his cool to the words "You can't keep them safe"? Really? I wouldn't even make the argument that it's been building up for a long time, because he was very calm about confronting Shane earlier. It feels like they just threw that whole scene in there to add tension and create an excuse to flood the screen with more zombies. The shot of Shane looking into the glass window was great though, I'll give them that much.
I dunno, in the end, nothing major happened to any of the main characters, and it was just 60 minutes of poor acting and some (lamer than usual) zombie action.

He'd been on the farm long enough for his leg to heal, that's plenty of time to realize whose it was. And if not then, he said he knew Herchel too, and Herchel was there the night of the shoot out when they saved him in the first place.
