He is doing his job well, his team did a good job limiting damage to base the first high ground push, they didn't try too hard to defend, lose fight and lose game.
Then WGU got too over eager couldn't finish game, now game in favor of Faceless for sure.
WG's inexperience showed, Faceless played the long game and had great holds and defense, even with a Jabz dieback mess up. I still think they are one of the favorites to win.
Initially I would have said fnatic, Faceless and TnC are the teams to look out for ... but TnC is not playing as I expected! So probably the two Fs (without dragons) going through!
mineski is looking pretty refined while fnatic looked shaky in their game against wg,unity but that was mostly because of draft .u just don't draft a single scaling core and natures prophet against TA and jugg. wg.unity did nothing but outfarned fnatic...i think they might be experimenting with the draft and it was the last game of the day .
anyway excited for fnatic vs faceless and fnatic vs mineski tommorow
I think WG really woke Faceless up in that first game and gave them a lot of confidence. Looking forward to how they'll do tomorrow against Fnatic, Mineski, and Fire Dragoons.
Faceless is really playing clean and solid dota. Fnatic did mostly what they needed to ensure that high ground push at top but defense from faceless was top notch.
Fnatic really feels like 2 groups of players who try to do their own thing .idk but teamwork just isn't there.communication issues are overtaking ,it feels like

Faceless vs Fnatic and Mineski vs WG.Unity then.
Nice dodge by mineski with this lose vs faceless. Honestly i think faceless is better team then fnatic in bo3 so they should win but WG.unity would be easier opponent for them.

Been noticing that faceless often pick black + jabz heroes only in 3rd pick onwards, most often 5th pick is eithermid or carry. Leaves less room to get counterpicked imo
Fnatic is actually retarded. They waited 2 minutes because they griped an illusion but they go in when they grip an ogre with 1,5 minute left on his aegis. Wtf this is just sad.

Are you still salty that he was voted Mvp of TI by the TL staff? Because I'm pretty sure no one has seriously hyped Demon here and most of us though this Fnatic roster was a gamble at best.

that triggers my dislike toward him
meanwhile faceless have yet to drop a single game throughout the qualifier the true face of SEA dota is... faceless...

Not the face for me until faceless finishes top 8 for the next 2 majors. iceiceice always stomps the lesser opponents then he somehow morphs into feedfeedfeed when the competition is increased.

That sounds like aggressive play on the edge. When facing worse teams the plays on the wrong side of the risk calculation aren't punished so only the good is there. When facing the best teams the small risks get punished when mistaken. It is something very hard to practice since you mostly face worse teams.
How is Fnatic late game decision making this fucking bad? Seriously, Mushi and Demon don't deserve to win anything ever again if they are still this trash after all that "experience".

What the hell did I just miss? I was watching LGD vs IG.v doing their clean coordinated boring Dota, but this sounds like it was glorious.
fnatic tried a 2men rosh strat which went rather well until nana walked into the roshan pit and all hell broke loose. fnatic retreated into an ET stomp, WD cask and jugg spin

People were arguing their invite on basis of their ti achievement like how some of the teams got it..I am pretty sure execration or mvp will get thrashed in this qualifiers given their recent performance too ..
But yeah, fnatic really looks like a Dismantled team..it's like 3 pinoys do one thing and 2 Malaysians do their thing..they aren't even on the same page..supports are doing nothing early game to secure lanes ,neither they smoke gank any lane..demon and eyyou plays same repeatative 3 heroes kotl, ogre and warlock..it's like enemy knows your supports are gonna be shit anyways let's pick whatever we like
Lose-lose situation for Midone and Fnatic, and to further extend Secret as well. Either Midone should come back to Fnatic or Secret rent a team house in Singapore/Malaysia in order to increase the chance to qualifier for the next major .

or rent in california for an even easier qualifier
I can see both support duo getting kick. I would prefer if mushi is carry then get a mid who can play micro intensive heroes however than someone who can play what mushi can already play

Yes..I am pretty hopeful that mushi picks up a Malaysian squad after this ..no need for communication disaster ..I hope inyourdream gets in fnatic
I mean I'm not huge on mushi either, he used to be a spectacular mid, but these days his teams are known mostly for their terrible shot-calling (which I suspect he has a significant influence over)
He needs a captain who is strong enough to control a superstar

Ohaiyo and dj did most of the shotcalling in old fnatic..tho 343 said everyone in team called shots when needed ..but this fnatic has so bad team chemistry and farm distribution .
And mushi played carry for most of the time in last year ..I think going suddenly back to mid and having senseless supports who play ultra passive early game ought to have impact on your teamplay.. look at how it is hurting ohaiyo too.. he is an offlaner who likes to gank at 4 mins with supports but with demon playing warlock every game,he can't do anything
Looks like another SEA shuffle is on the cards. What an achievement by Puppey though, EU, NA & now SEA; dismantling 3 regions in more or less 3 years. Beware CN, Clementinator might be coming for you next..

unfortunately that Fnatic fail they success as Orange
Fairly certain if MVP was in the qualifiers, they would stomp 45% of the games, get stomped 50% of the time, and the last 5% is them throwing their heavy advantage in spectacular fashion while trying to go high ground against WG and mineski.
Why would you drop the static storm first when you have a multi hero instant set-up with the OD aghs ulti? If they had waited they could have at least trapped 2 heroes in double SS.
