I'd give them one tournament to slip up and adjust their style. First tournament Sumail and Aui played in EG they bombed out pretty bad, so I think we can give them a bit of grace.

Bulba (and most of the time Fear) was all keeping the previous EG roster together. Can't say I'm surprised to see them crumbling now. They'll (probably) be good eventually, but I doubt it'll be until well after TI6 has come and gone.

People should not freak out, VP was able to take games against anyone and long tournaments are very momentum based like shown by CDEC last year or OG at Frankfurt. Teams have a lot of time to find their footing during the long seeding stage at TI.

What if PPD wanted to lose. Maybe he wants everyone at TI to underestimate them and capitalize on this lack of preparation. I feel like mind games are quite important in these circumstances. I'm probably wrong though lol.

Here's Na'Vi's chance to show they're the best team that isn't Liquid/OG/Wings.

As for EG, there's hiding strats then there's ending the game with a clowncar disaster like EG did that game. They're pretty distinct things.
