I certainly hope he is past that, though I wouldnt mind him throwing another jab at Secret like last time :D

The east is easier but only internally, LGD and VG are awful, Nb looks amazing and the rest is in between.

Thats a problem with dota 2 as an scene the amount of games teams play is incredibly low if you are considered "top team", you get invited to most tournaments, etc... no real practice, scrims are great but you need some of the real deal in csgo you see top teams playing online qualifiers/leagues all the time, there are some tournaments with invite systems but every week off from a tournament theres navi, lg, astralis, nip, nv, etc... playing each other trying to qualify

I hope valve goes for something like 8 invites at TI.

Is this some funny joke I'm missing? Alliance kicked EE and won TI3 EG lost RTZ and won TI5 I believe that's what he's referencing. Whether or not it's funny is up to you.

I almost want them to do qualifiers for everyone, where Majors give you a very good positional seed into the quals. Maybe that defeats the purpose of a major, though, as a qualifier for TI? I certainly want to see the top 4 teams in the upcoming major be all Wildcard teams.

The problem is there isn't enough time for high-tier teams to justify playing in qualifiers for tournaments they're not invited to-they'd have to drop out of a few at the last minute, which was kind of a big problem for the scene for a while.

Today, "All teams must play in qualifier, they are not playing enough game at all". In 1 year, "Please stop making top teams play in qualifier, this is meaningless and hype killing".
