Mineski again? I remember the manager doing this last year. Cringeworthy but still good times.
I'm satisfied Tobi won even though I liked Winter a little more.

tobi should be dq'ed, ridiculous

Pfft, Tobi had the weakest move of them all. This shit is rigged.

More rigged than the US presidential election.

they are adaptable in draft tho, unlike the burdens back home. They seem to be decent at adapting. And also seem to be play better as the series goes on. Though I'd love some detailed analysis how they get rolled so hard every game 1. Not that much to say. Wings had Chen/necro pos 1; Fnatic had Ench/spec. A fight broke out at 0:00 - Fnatic got first blood and even ended up using way less regen after the fight - Chen got bullied by Ench who destroyed Necro - Ench had Phase when Necro was lvl 2 and had no way of laning - rest was just death animation. But he's talking about every game 1 being a colossal failure. I think it's an exaggeration but Wings are doing something wrong with their opening games that is really inconsistent with how well they end up doing over time. either it's some sort of throw game, find out how your opponent play sort of thing which is pretty ballsy if true. either way why da fuq does col deserve an invite i don't get it. if wings win this tournament, not saying they win, it would be pretty double standard for them not to invite wings and invite VGR. They won't win, which is why it's going to be an issue, were Empire to not win. Invite Fnatic, and people will say - why did you invite Fnatic when they didn't win any tournament and lost to the team that you didn't invite? Invite Empire, and people will say - why would you invite this team that didn't win any tournament and didn't even play until one week before the invite? I think wings is fighting for an invite spot against their Chinese peers. If the other chinese teams have been shit, i don't see a reason not to invite wings. So far, only VGR have performed, while LGD and perhaps newbee have shown some glimpses. Similarly, why Fnatic won't get an invite is because of MVP. Why empire will likely not be invited is because of other EU teams. While it would be ideal to invite only the best teams around, realistically we know that there's quotas for each region. i dont think mvp will get an invite over fnatic tho..yeah, they finished one place above fnatic at shanghai, but have been losing to fnatic in almost every qualifiers since then (3 or 4 qualifiers grand finals) and on top of that they got out of starladder without winning a single map.and if anything valve did with last major with alliance invite is they gave weightage to tournament before major(WCA) and i am pretty sure if they count esl in, then fnatic should clearly get an invite over fnatic
Then it would be grossly unfair for MVP. While it is a fact that MVP have been losing to Fnatic, you have to remember that so far the latter has only been dominating just the sea scene. Meanwhile MVP won a relatively stacked international tournament in dotapit. That alone should be given high weight. If Fnatic won this tournament, then you could argue for them. But they crashed out in the semi.

then if we go by this, the spot which people were discussing about going to col should go to fnatic. as i don't think OG , na'vi or alliance should get the invite above fnatic

Everything becomes political once there is enough money involved. Esports is not immune.

Natus Vincere is going to get one for being the best team in their region unless Empire wins this tournament.
The others, however, are all up for decision now. This is why this lose by Fnatic made the invite difficult.

I get it when there is a very large scene like Starcraft and there are multiple top players from one country and it is more along the eastern sector than strictly in the South East area geographically. he can think whatever he likes but Valve and most of us will still consider them as SEA he's not the center of the world, maybe the center of the joke The problem with considering them Southeast Asia, is that they don't even play in Southeast Asia these days. They practiced on China for Shanghai, and are now in Europe practicing there. They're no longer a Southeast Asia team. tell that to Valve, ESL, Epicenter, etc etc

esports is far from real sports tho..so , yes there can be a lot of fun involved unless valve decides to become jaded person
