Reminds me a lot of many of EGs losses which were obvious draft chokes and ppd playing even worse than usual, yet you'd still have people blaming RTZ or Suma1l or whatever. Guess it's a common thing that people are afraid to blame the captain or something, I dunno. EE Walking uphill and being a frontliner as a drow ranger, Universe failing ravages left and right, rtz whiffling spells like 2k voker
I mean, puppey was playing like shit also (wasting doom on death enemies, worst blackholes ever, etc...) But all of secret did their best to play so bad

Well yeah, but it doesnt mean what Secret did was right either. I think most people would agree that w33 is a great player that deserves to be on a tier 1 team, firing him 4 days before roster locks was basically Secret ending his year right there and then, because almost all good teams had completed their rosters at that point. This decision by Secret wouldn't have received such backlash if they informed w33 about their decision like 1-2 wees earlier that will give him time to find another team. If you want to blame someone, you gotta blame universe and arteezy for that. They agreed on joining Secret only so close to the deadline. How does this logic work again? RTZ and Universe should have agreed earlier because they should have cared about w33 and Misery? No. They should have taken their time and considered about such a big decision (and they did) because it affected their career, not somebody's else. Now I'm not saying what happened with w33 or Misery was pretty, it sucked. But I either blame the shuffling rules which pretty much give potential departing players the short end of the stick, or Secret's management for not giving w33 or Misery earlier notice so that they could have considered looking for a new team sooner. No way that's RTZ or Universe's fault (on the perspective of w33 and Misery's late departure solely, I'm not commenting on what happened at EG).
Anyway back to topic, I'm pretty sure what happened with Secret was just bad co-ordination overall and lack of competitive trial runs (as someone mentioned above, what works in scrims doesn't always mean success in tournaments - probably that's what happened to the EE's naga game). Rtz needs to work on his Invoker (if he doesn't get nerfed to the ground in the next patch) because other than afk farming/pushing and landing sunstrike with on roared/sprouted target, he's pretty bad. Universe needs to play more games with his new teammates to get the rhyme. And Puppey needs to study more (not that he hasn't already) on the current meta and come up with better ideas as Secret's past success has been heavily influenced by them leading the meta after a new patch, and we have yet to see it this ESL (or perhaps whatever he thought would be good simply didn't work).

I loved Puppey ever since I got into Dota. But man does this whole Secret thing have a LOT of negatives stacked up in my head by now. From not paying their old players to ditching players they had exceptional success with and building all-star lineups at the expense of other teams.
It's hard not to not be a little bit pleased when they bomb out like this.
