Complexity went for comfort over Meta and kind of paid for it. OD was the 5th pick.

Also, if you have a team that 1st picks Invoker, you've got to remove Lion. The stun + hex + finger + Sunstrike can keep a team in the game. And they used it to low-risk gank Cheesie a bunch.

i actually think BKB was the item for envy, over the butterfly, but that's just me.
arteezy's item choices didn't pay off for what actually ended up happening in the game.
an earlier bkb and maybe they have a better chance and all in all the timings were quite disjointed between him, naga, and universe getting absolutely nothing on nyx.

Swindlezz was out pick that game. Even though I do think they played pretty well in the early and middle game, it was always going to be harder to play a strategy that is all about getting through every spell, than a strategy that just require you to not die to those.

Secret played so weird in that game. Getting easily baited into bad team fights. The Nyxx pick accomplished nothing. They didn't utilize Wisp/OD as often later in the game. There was a few nice moments in the early game near their mid tower with OD being saved and IO plays, but overall a few major key blunders just made them look sloppy.

21-1 Invoker... Must have been a nightmare for complexity. fucken 360injoker is disgusting to watch when he gets to that point.

Puppey just rode Invoker + Lion to winning Shanghai. The synergy & risk/reward is just too damn good.

Rtz is a world class player if not one of the very best, however going from carry to mid in a patch like we have at the moment was a super risky move. Be interesting what draft puppey does in game 2, im excited to see

They shouldn't have given away that hero three games, no, but they'll get another opportunity to force that middle player into a different hero.

Nyx pick is Universe ego ala Yoky- I want mid or feed
EG style of demi 4-protect-1 fits that pick
but not Secret's pick

I feel RTZ's item choice was game losing. He needed the standard blink hex bkb build for initiation after naga spread the map out for them.

Spectre's haunt + 1 initiator could easily pick off heroes already and they had 4 initiators lol. Letting Empire control the pace of the game is not a good idea.
