PPD failed at the first pick, allowing nature's prophet to get picked. Banning invoker instead of Prophet definitely should be questioned. Considering how well he has drafted for his team this game was very jarring.
PPDs always had really questionable drafts that fall flat on their face and make you wonder what drugs he was on. He usually gets a pass because they're rare but when they happen its painful to watch.

I'm pretty sure their 4p1s aren't supposed to be passive. They just end up being passive when Sumail gets destroyed and then achieves nothing all game. I think they're consistently overestimating his ability to pull magic out with no help.
This patch has not been his patch.

sumail played well in the first game, he was carrying until... his hero doesn't scale. did very well in the last 3 series even. game 2 ppd gives him a bad lane, expecting him to die to ursa but provide damage late game. instead his bottle gets impossibly sniped and then he's left for dead in an impossible match
the entire series was draft/lack of meta understanding from ppd

If they picked NP, they would have had a counter vs any melee carry like Ursa, they would have had a laner that probably would have more fun that DS considering everything just got denied, etc.
Man I don't understand drafters some times. It has been quite easy to see the definite draft pick that should happen this patch, so I don't believe people are missing the info even I have, but I think they're just overthinking it.

What's weird is that he's the most famous one for saying if you beat someone with something don't go same strat cause they'll figure it out, and they go pretty similar strat/play style game 1 and 2 and that wasn't even following a win.
