I even question drafting Dark Seer.
The naga pick makes sense actually it's really good against liquid's lineup if it gets fat
what they didn't anticipate was getting roled hard
I don't mind them picking Naga at all. I mind what they decided to do to build up to her. Their lineup needed a lot more aggression and to a lesser extent stacking potential from the supports. The remaining cores were sort of ok but I feel if Enigma wasn't picked they would've been more thoughtful on Universe's hero.

yo goody o/ I'm still waiting for your weekly konosuba picture recap
Other than that, didn't expect that we both would get our fav teams in the finals. I'll even allow your team to get 2 games before ultimately falling short of closing up the entire thing.

RTZ Naga is the best in the world at the moment, most likely. If there's no chinese prodigy or a SEA boy better than meracle.

ppd got stuck on assuming they could deal with the Nature's Prophet. The reality is they haven't really figured out a way to deal with it by the top-tier teams. The Tusk really wasn't the ban in the first phase that they needed.
And I still don't get why ppd won't draft Lina for Sumail. EG keeps running out of late-game damage and it's been exploited against them multiple times by the top-tier teams. You can style all over the lower teams, but the top ones can adjust.
But there's still almost no explanation for the Pugna.

Loda naga is good because alliance naga is good. Not because loda is a godtier naga player.
He's nothing special with the hero, he's just doing his job as a naga player. He plays around more with his team which is really important why it makes their team naga good but not because his naga is spectacular.
Are we back to actually praising loda for ineffective and inefficient individual plays despite his real strength being a team player more than anything

PPD failed at the first pick, allowing nature's prophet to get picked.
Banning invoker instead of Prophet definitely should be questioned. Considering how well he has drafted for his team this game was very jarring.
PPDs always had really questionable drafts that fall flat on their face and make you wonder what drugs he was on. He usually gets a pass because they're rare but when they happen its painful to watch.
What's weird is that he's the most famous one for saying if you beat someone with something don't go same strat cause they'll figure it out, and they go pretty similar strat/play style game 1 and 2 and that wasn't even following a win.
PPD does sometimes like to repeat the same draft if he believes in it
If you think Loda naga is better you literally do not watch the game. Watch minimap when he plays, his illusion control is nothing close to RTZ. He gets less farm from each illusion, less wave cutting, and less damage done overall. Burning is about 4 steps below even Loda...

Tusk is a good ban, but the Invoker would have been easier to deal with than NP.
Drafting Lina as a mid in the first place is choosing to go for a weaker hero, which can put you behind. Sometimes you need to be able to w33 the game up and just do it, but it doesn't seem like Sumail can.
