Seems like secret live and die by w33s performance, of him alone creating enough space for envy to carry after like 40-50 mins. The support pair just feeds and rolls over, they are not a good combo and they need one aggressive support.

Naix is considered as a bad hero (of course until the change of his ultimate) . It's so bad in most situations that if you lost it you should just quit dota (of course it's a pun .. naix is obviously working situational pick)

Earth Spirit didn't snowball out of control and thus was just as effective as p much ES support. The Naix allowed them to fight earlier then normal(which led to like 2-3 Roshans). Secret had to find continious pickoffs with LC because they would lose h2h teamfights. a lategame TB would be able to deal with any of the heroes from Newbee but not all together, esp when the other 4 heroes on Newbee scale way better then any of the respective heroes on the Secret side. Lifestealer also itimized 100% correctly, the AC/Deso made it so they were able to break high ground quite comfortably, quickly and safely with Rage LS, Aegis and DP ultimate. i also think the lifestealer is a very nice choice vs an ES core because you have rage and you dont need to wait for a bkb

Even still, Secret wasn't even behind until they started taking stupid fights. Had they went to late game with those heroes, and had ghost, and had a farmed EternalEnvy instead of one that built stupid items, they'd have ran over Naix.

He basically killed all the supports without them being able to do anything, due to both supports having no answer to Naix until ghost, and they never made it. The void was a bigger issue that game to Secret's strategy, because they could not initiate into him. Even still, Secret wasn't even behind until they started taking stupid fights.
