This is the difference between Western and Chinese dota.

Chinese strongly believe in grouping up, 1 key kill into objectives. They pride themselves in being able to engage or hunt effectively.

Western teams believe in aggressive farming all over the map. Even if they die, they often have farmed more than they loss, especially when their other cores are farming while the opponent sends the whole squad to kill. They look to hit a certain late game farm window.

Chinese supports believe in protecting cores by being near them. Numbers advantage makes it difficult to gank the cores.

Western supports believe in protecting cores by simply drawing the enemy towards them instead of the cores.

Been this way since 2013, when Alliance taught the West how to play.

Not really. Alliance 2013 wasn't close to this Western style. It was about 1) multiple cores and 2) farm on supports.

This Western style was pretty much pioneered by C9.
EE played in [A]/Nth. Loda and Akke played dota, when EE was still wearing diapers.

Yes, but that period was about the utilisation of ancient stacks to accelerate farm. Again nothing to do with the current Western style.

You must have forgotten all the split farming Alliance did; it wasn't just "stacking ancients"; it was controlling the map and out farming the opponent. Although I do agree that the style was developed around the time EternalEnvy was still in Alliance, and at the time there was an argument about who developed it. But C9 is way too late.

EG just somehow never capitulates no matter how badly they are getting battered, it's quite the thing to behold.

Too bad they are getting badly battered for two games in a row now against the supposed worst team in the universe though.

Yes but who is there mid that deals damage the way suma1l likes to play (Aggressively) there is 1 invoker. The rest do not work this patch thus suma1ls hatred for this patch.

Maybe it's time to try Shadow Demon mid. He's pretty good.

Nice Sprout + Sven not being able to attack combo. And a 3-4 man stun into no damage from RTZ:

Only the last place in group doesn't advance. Technically this is still standard Day 1.
