Also, weaver/puck were buffed into game, to the point where both are picked. As for rubick, jug, those remain meta in any patch for a while now.
And jug and rubick are go to picks since last 2 metas ..idk what makes those heroes rare occurrence for him.

not sure if you're just agreeing, but yeah that's my point. the thread blowing up about how icefrog patched alliance back is some sillyness. icefrog didn't unnerf alliance's old style which is still effectively dead

I also think s4 is having a momentum based revival with his boys. Sick plays with batrider, puck, and picking signature heroes for his team no matter what's the current meta. They don't care and they realized they just need to do what they're good at, because you know what, it works anyway. Dude I'm loving this! Imo he learned this from Puppey, I aways feel like Puppey is prioritizing comfort zone over meta. I mean it does help a lot that a bunch of their comfort picks were buffed back into the meta this patch. Bat or Puck buffed back? I don't think so. It looks obvious for some of bulldog's heroes but for S4 I'm not convinced.
Significant buffs to bulldog benefits S4 a ton. It takes a ton of pressure off s4 and you can tell its made a big difference this patch.
