EE's Ember is effective when they pick it, but at the same time, they probably know they're not capable of the same raw power on the hero so they fall back on Travels farm efficiency and making it work as a backline hero with a corresponding teamcomp rather than as a virtually self-sufficient pick the way EG can simply because of how good Sumail is at pushing the hero to it's limit.

I might just say PPD plays ember well. Just like Q. Ember depends on draft synergy to be effective at all. Hes not like a Spec or PL that carries the game. What kind of mechanical skills are we talking about here? Efficient remnant usage? Sleight dodges? all the normal carry responsibilities? Even Burning had a sick ember game then a completely garbage one right after. Did he just become ember retarded in one game?

Yeah, I don't deny that. I think it's... well, not only a draft loss, but definitely a problem that came out of the draft. If Liquid had had an amazing laning stage, it wouldn't have been an issue, but given that CDEC beat them at that stage, it's not surprising that they lost.
