The heal bomb thing never went into factor cause the Vp support was busy ruining top and midlane. Lina and sf also just nukes the shit out of them when they see them (phobos was doing a pretty good job keeping broodlings alive, i've seen misery's broodlings die alot more even when he owns).

The heal bomb definitely won safelane. Dark seer was supposed to do well against brood. Because of the dazzle he got nothing,

vp just played really well like all lanes (except that stupid G dive under the tower death mid) and the rotations and the fights they picked was pretty crisp

Wave clear is not the solution to Brood at high level. You need a hero how doesn't get crushed in lane and tanky supports who are able to catch her. SB is probably the best Brood counter out there. Tusk is also very good.

So is this a pointless series? How exactly does the outcome meatter. Either way the last chance brackets are made right!? Or am I missing out sumtin....

It is important to find out the 2nd placed team in the group.

According to v1lat SL is using results from all games, not only the ones between the tied teams. So as some noted earlier Secret needs to 2-0 and in that case TL will play Secret in a bo1 for the 2nd spot. If Secret wins 2-1 CISR and TL will play a bo1 for the 2nd spot. And if CISR wins then they qualify.
