I believe the consensus was that the cast point nerf was too easy stop. Heroes like QoP and AM can dodge Doom pretty easily. Other big factors for his return were the Leshrac/Lina/Eul's combo nerf and the nerf to SS. A dual core of QoP + SS should have problems with Doom in theory, but if you throw in a bounty hunter support and keep Doom tracked, his ultimate should be pretty easy to avoid in 6.84. Even a carry like PL wouldn't have had much problems with Doom in 6.84 since Doppleganger was instant. | ||
