A few USA chants are fine but please don't do it too much.

Stop the stupid USA arguments, thanks.

On another note, CDEC flairs are now live. Sorry about the delay on that.

xiao8 will top the overall gamer earnings list, even if he place 3rd tomorrow.

Sylar and MMY could win their first TI after being runner-ups in previous TI. In Sylar's case, he defeated his former team to get there.

EG winning on home soil. "One less ego, one more championship" dies from salt poisoning. (lol j/k)

Don't get me wrong and/or sorry for not explaning myself: CDEC vs any team indeed is a great story of Dota for hardcore esports dota fans. And of course, good dota is good for all of our memories. I'm more worried about Dota shaping it's scene in something like SC2, where the big victories were almost always for koreans.
I'm thinking that having a west team in the finals is a better story for mainstream media than chinese vs chinese. And no, I don't want esports to go on mainstream: as djwheat said in this interview, we only need mainstream acceptance and mainstream acceptance comes with good stories. Sadly, a Chinese vs Chinese story doesn't help the develop of western scene as good as a west vs china story, even if china prevails in the end.

Cheering for you own nation, also apparently racist.

But as a certified social justice warrior, I can confirm that cheering for a team that speaks the same language as you does not make you racist. You are all ok, cheer for whoever you like.

The problem here dat ppl who "clearly" support west dont support CDEC even if they're all this TI biggest storyline.
GO CDEC - LGD finals.

Why should I support forcing a narrative on something? If it happens it happens.

Totally understandable that people root the team from their own country.
During the past half year, they are more fans in China of IG or LGD than EG or secret, although the latter dominated the game that time.

And, CDEC is amazing, hard to image that it is in danger of disbanding because of the leaving of MAYBE.
Team "Old Boys", combined by 820, yyf, zhou, longDD, DD, who deprecate themselves as "Old Burdens" or "A group of fish". They said that Aggressif will always watching their online cast of TI and appreciate their advises like "ban bomb man" and "never choose razor".

EG needs a new carry. Fear non factor, Sumail has to carry alone

EG as a team, and PPD as a captain, wouldn't be remotely as strong as they are if it weren't for the versatility of Fear, Universe and Aui.

It's easy to look at individual games and say that Fear isn't good enough, but so many or EG's series are won because the first two picks can go on any combination of players, or because they'll pull out surprise carries or offlaners they've never used before, all because Fear and Universe can be trusted with almost anything.

In most games fear just farm while sumail outfarms him while winning the game for EG. Aui and Universe are good enough.

EG is the best team left skill wise but the other 2 teams understand the meta better.

Damn shame if its an LGD C D E C final

I find team fight executions and objective based gaming more of an indicator of skill than flashy plays and lane domination. EG were never the most skilled team player for player but ppd understood the meta/drafts better than almost anyone. Now both CDEC and LGD have captains that can outdraft him and understand the meta on the same level as him if not better.

And most "better" carries do it at the expense of the midlaner, offlaner and supports.

Fear's the anchor for the team, not the one that's dominating the games.
