A few USA chants are fine but please don't do it too much.
Stop the stupid USA arguments, thanks.
On another note, CDEC flairs are now live. Sorry about the delay on that. |

To be fair, something like being one game up as upper bracket winner or having to win 2 series as the lower bracket contender is very heavy handed and takes out a lot of the tension. Maybe something minor like having the winner bracket team win the coin flip by default might be in order. You also have to consider that EG had to play two series today, whereas CDEC are fresh and get one more series worth of information. 1 game advantage in a Bo5 is too big. 1 game advantage is Bo7 felt like it doesn't really matter.... not sure if anyone wants to play a Bo7 either.

13 minute Blood Stone.

In an interview I remember a player saying playing that extra series is better as it serves as a decent warm-up.
Tell that to LGD.

This game is looking very scary for EG imo, not sure if they are gonna be able to hold on the pressure that it's about to come in the next 10 mins.

DK is actually *the* pick if you just expect to get totally out-skilled mid and want a flexible pick that can play from behind but still go lategame.
With the current apparent skill difference between Sumail and Shiki in laning, you don't want a pick that needs to be not-behind to be useful, and DK is just that.

Sumail really is just that good. His Achilles heel is his relative inexperience so in really scrappy games like game 1 of the WB, some of his decision making can be questionable. So Sumail is basically a Roger Federer of DotA at his first Grand Slam?

Yeah I don't know how CDEC plans on winning if they don't turn on the aggression soon.

This series is a drastic difference from CDEC vs EG yesterday. EG are far more prepared and ready to outplay here.
|
The real question is whether or not ppd will get aghs before the hour mark.
|
PL is the name of the game here, he is the only one keeping CDEC on the tournament
|
DK is a really strong mid hero this patch imo, like you just stableize
|
PL's farming very well, though, EG needs to do something quick
|
The good old Aui farm alone while the rest of EG is a team.

They probably play 8-12h a day, if anything 3h competitive before finals might actually be an advantage.
I don't know about the whole argument. EG had to win 1 more game to get to finals, so that's making it harder for them already. Maybe give them a Coin Toss disadvantage if the winner bracket guys must have something (like, just take the toss away and give them choice for game 1, 3, 4).
Starting a game down takes a lot of the suspense out of a Final
