also shout out to people who were saying new secret is better than the old one. KuroKy playing carry was the best thing happened to Dota 2. The secret that couldn't win a lan even if their lives depended on it ?

I wouldn't call them overrated in the sense that they weren't the best team going in (they clearly were), however it was very clear that they had holes in their gameplans, and it's just that teams weren't exploiting them. It's the most stacked Western team in a long time in terms of overall skill, however it goes to show that team chemistry and cohesiveness is far more important than overall skill. We see this in EG where they have a very high level of skill, but also have absolutely excellent teamwork, and are never negative even when they lose (unlike what we saw here where RTZ clearly just blew up).

they had to first ban gyro because they have no one to play him. Secret is (was) a team with 2 mid players. That limited their drafts extremely. Oh well, pretty sure RTZ is out now. Looking forward to the reshuffle.

C9 disband s4 kicked from Secret RTZ moved back to mid EE joins Secret Not likely and I doubt the team would do well either but y'know. Zai takes a year break. iceiceice joins Secret. iceiceice, ppy, kky, rtz, s4 VG is a better team than Secret. Why would ice^3 leave them? Sweet gwailo money.

S4 captained so well over the last few months, and then he crumbled during these games. Zai played amazingly and deserved to go further. RTZ played reliably well except for a few hiccups like the Luna game. Puppey and Kuroky also played very reliably as supports overall. Only the strong move on. Looks like vp inherited the winning drow visage spirit haha

What surprise to see all secret fanboys immediately jump to EG. Is it possible to be anymore boring?

Don't feel bad for anyone on Secret.
Puppey made personnel decisions Kuro backed up. Leadership changes were made from within the team. Interpersonal issues neutered their practice time. Picks were made personal.
They didn't deserve this TI. Collectively. Dota is a team game in more ways than the simple fact of there being other people in the game on your side.
They showed they weren't ready when they started playing. No single person on the team or their performance caused this outcome.
In the end, it just wasn't a TI winning team. Or it'd have won.

Zai and Arteezy were the standout players. Zai delivered every time when he was on a hero that has impact. Arteezy was number one on net worth every single game, even the losses, despite his team not playing any 4 protect 1 strategy. Did you completely forget game 2? Rtz was fucking awful that whole game, and S4s amazing is what even kept them in the game for so long And do you remember game 1? Rtz was the reason they actually managed to win. Add Zai to that.. game 1 they actually played at the level they are at when they dont tilt..
everyone played equally well that game
in the second game, rtz got cocky and played so embarassingly bad, it affected the whole team even the game afterwards. In g3, only kuroky and zai played really well imo. Puppey did stupid shit, s4 did stupid shit, rtz feeding again

Great time to put Secret fans on blast. The talent was their but I felt they were clinging on too much to a team that didn't dominate the scene nearly as hard as they thought they were capable of.

I guess when TI is all that matters the last game that got them knocked out is all that will be remembered.
Well that, and s4's ferocious feeding, and finishing the 2 position 5k networth behind the 5 position of the other team. I like S4, but he was god fucking awful that game.
