No, clearly a lot of people think they are a bad team, and more specifically, that they could personally play Dota beter than RotK and Cty. People have a tendency to call a team shit in every sport. Whether that's a hockey team that is the 10th best in the world, or whatever else. If it looks like they get outclassed, they get called shit - it's kind of human nature to do so, at least the nature of some people. Secret outclassed them, even in game 2, where they had a deficit, and managed to pull it back. If it was any other team, I would have called it a done game at the 12 minute mark, but it was Secret, and I was just thinking "kay, they have a small deficit", because they are good. I'm doubtful than any people here genuinely think they could go beat them ezpz. When it comes to esports I know this is false. A lot of gamers seriously believe all it takes to become good is time put into a game instead of effort. They could go pro if they didn't have real life obligations holding them back. I've heard this stated for over a decade and when I thought the idiocy was over the same points were made this year by multiple people. TBF even IRL Sports sometimes get maligned. Many people couldn't respect basketball as a sport until a proteam went around the country wrecking local teams to promote the sport. In this day many people have no understanding the physical challenges of NASCAR/Formula 1 even though they drive all their lives. It absolutely baffles me how they don't know.

Look at the standings the matches were aligned to maximize viewership. Empire Vs Secret would immediately kill a certain percentage of viewers. Empire getting stuck with LGD was doing them more favors than anything else based on results prior to LGD hitting the next level at this tournament.
