No he really isn't, the problem was that VG picked themselves into a corner. With that draft they were forced to win Top and Bottom lane by an extremely large margin , and even though they did win top they lost bottom which led to a lost game. SF beats Dazzle mid yes, but if you watched the game from super's perspective at all (you didnt, you most likely also listened to the casters) you would have seen how often he missed timed heal bombs and missed last hits by 5-10 hp.

Swap is the only reason she should be picked, which means she doesn't deserve the first pick she is often getting. The aura isn't overrated. It's pretty much what carries her into having a 14% better winrate than the other supports not named AA.

And how exactly it does? Her aura barely affects anything other ganks and roshan, in actual teamfight it has low impact until ultra late if your team does not consist of morph/TB/drow/tony.

Obviously VG was underestimating EG's new roster and thinking they could win with a sub-optimal draft and Super's contributions in that game were.....couple of shallow graves that saved his teammates' inevitable deaths by a couple seconds.

Cannot believe that these tech issues are that hard to deal with. Low quality production crew or equipment is likely.

Theres a reason I didn't buy the compendium, because so far the tournament has sunk to my expectations wonderfully.

The same teams shouldn't be playing 2 games in a row, so no reason why a delay in one game would cause larger delays in another. This way they have people complaining about downtime for 45 minutes once every hour, because there's nothing to watch.
