He only made one big mistake (granted it was somewhat crucial) when he walked through the enemy team with Ravage on cooldown near the Dire Top T2. But that fight it really was a team error as they should have just bailed when EGM (or was it Bulba I can't remember) got picked off. Instead they hesitated deciding whether they were gonna go in or not and that turned their small lead into the 3 midas team's favor. Really was game from there.

Granted, TT looks to be joining the long line of teams that do really well in group stage Bo1s then fall apart at Lans.

I really dont know why navi keep such a bad player. well, its not like Funnik get them through midgame and supports and dendi stacked huge ancient stack. Edit: and how he had bad start on offlane? The start was bad, he was farming and TT had to rotate.

Well I think he should have shit on the Sven/Wisp lane more. Like really single handily destroy that lane, especially when he had early levels and farm in the mid lane. If it was iceiceice on Tide, the lane would have been crushed. That was my only issue with sing, because the rest of the faults were more of a team decision than his poor plays.

Old C9 bombed hard wehn they went to China, the best they did before was 2nd at Dreamhack.

I don't think Envy was ever going to want him at that position the way XBOCT wasn't going to want Puppey/Kuroky around. Sing is such a mixed bag it's painful to talk about him. Because he is very talented and has a wide hero pool but as it stands you have to use him right or he can either be ineffective or actually a liability. And I like him a lot but the team has got to either use him better or let him go. I don't think he's happy right now because his role seems to keep sliding into areas where he's not comfortable. Also I think this just applies to TT in general. Like yes all of the players on the team can swap roles but I don't think this is good long-term. At some point you have to let your supports focus on their support game and your offlaner focus on his offlane game carry on his carry game and mid on his mid game. All of these role rotations seem to be based on hero preferences which don't appear to be working well in drafts anyway so start settling shit. The only thing I have seen consistently work on pro teams is the occasional swap of safelane carry and mid.

The only thing I have seen consistently work on pro teams is the occasional swap of safelane carry and mid. I mean when SingSing was on C9 they would really draft around him it seems, they would always pick Mirana, Ember, TA, and then even Meepo too once he started playing that. He was always on something he was comfortable on and it made him shine. On TT now he is playing stuff like offlane Jakiro and Tide which is weird for him. I really think this mass role-swapping they do is stupid though. Simply put, the team that is more solidifed with their roles will probably do better than one that keeps switching them. You're right that for the most part the only switch I see work is the one where the carry and mid switch places depending on the heroes they pick. I feel ike TT draft like this: Put Qojqva and Pajkatt on something they play well and is planned, whatever is left over in the draft, put SingSing on that.
