Loyalty to organisations that mostly last only a couple years is totally different to ones that have been round for over a century. If you want to do that it's fine, but if you don't I don't see the problem. Where I'd make fun of people is if they're a "fan" when a team is winning and not when they're losing despite no changes in personnel. | ||

That's how every major Sports Franchise fans are.They support their team rather than the Individuals that play in them. Thats not really true. In Football, people support players just as much as teams. I was a fan of Tottenham Hotspur for a while because Rafeal van der Vaart played for them. Once he left, I lost interest. A lot of people support Messi, Ronaldo or Ibrahimoviz without necessarily being fan of the team | ||

I agree, we are actually seeing the start of real franchise with EG/Na'Vi and and other long running organizations that expand in different games. I don't know anything about LOL or Street fighter but if I check a stream with an EG/Liquid player I will pretty much automatically root for that guy. | ||
