And I don't want to be be negative after such a great game... but was this really the best analysis desk they could come up with? Well it's only the play-ins, gotta give all the people they brought to seattle some air-time.

Dendi just flat out isn't an impressive solo mid player anymore. I'd take resolution over him any day of the week tbh. I've never really seen an impressive mid be impressive in the laning phase, beyond dodging them ganks. This is why 1v1 fights in mid are silly. But fun for a bit of time filler. Being good in 1v1 is really just about patience, which few of the really good solo mid players have for playing 1v1 tournaments.
I think we see supports do well in them because they care more, they want to prove something. Dendi doesn't really have anything to prove, so why would he care? Who knows.
I think his mechanics would be perfectly fine for 1v1 if he just cared.

Heen is a fokin amazing player, his share in wins are more than %40 imho. I wouldn't expect Liquid to be much better than VP. CiS, depends on what shape they're in. Liquid will take the qualifier, no problem. After these performances, I'm feeling quite confident that the winner of CIS vs Liquid is the 16th team in TI4.
Is this the same kind of "no problem" that people said Liquid would have going into NA qualifier?

Btw, short, unrelated question. When you log into this forum for the first time, is your avatar chosen randomly? Or does it depend on the post count in this section before this forum existed, or anything else?

Individual players, maybe not so much. Current team...? TL was at, what, Monster Invitation? They were at MLG last year and Dreamhack winter. That was with Fluff though.

Nah, the people who followed the scene well all knew that NAR, Liquid, and SNA very all very equal in skill. I wish there was a betting system on teamliquid where you can bet against other users and they'd handle the transaction without breaking the integrity of the website. I'd bet on 3/1 odds that teamliquid will take the qualifier.

If we're talking about relevant experience. Liquid has more than CIS.
It really doesn't matter that these specific 5 haven't been together at a bunch of Lan events.
They're not even playing on a stage in front of people, the experience that's valuable here is about nerves in important games. Something CIS have little experience with, and Liquid players have a lot.

40 days no practice. I really don't know what that means, since no team does that... That's really the big question!

liquid buys rod of atos in game 3 super late game, black freezes unable to say rod of atos in chinese that he just saw clicking on liquid's heroes, dies, liquid wins
