edit: Even AM who comes online 10min before PL would've lost them the game. It's only Void's ulti in teamfights that was keeping them in there.

Do you really think iG wouldn't have been able to come back without stealing chrono? It's not like they had Luna ulti, Tide ulti, WR shackle+powershot, telekinesis, NS or anything...

I know that Chuan landed TWO Chronos that won IG TWO team fights in mid game when they were behind. Everything else is sheer imagination.

Your idea of using PL instead of Void to stall out the game long enough to be won by DK is just your overactive imagination at work.

Listen, PL is good if you have like 8 images starting the fight but you don't and probably never will until they're pushing your base or you're pushing theirs. If your team is getting wrecked and dived what are you gonna accomplish if you tp in as compared to a void? PL is really not difficult to kill at all against a good team with a lot of aoe early on. Rubick and windrunner alone will destroy those illusions in no time in the early game. He's also pretty easy to smoke gank.

The counter chronos were flashy and locked down the supports, but tombstone zombies and rhasta wards and venomancer wards+poison (hmmm, sounds like they really planned the void pick) were still there.
It's DK's fault for not fending off ig's nightstalker led aggression. The countergank into the smoke gank in their woods, which led to a full luna+tide ult was really bad.
