And due to the seeding it is almost impossible that the top 8 at the end won't be the invited teams, apart from maybe 3dmax | ||

edit: tried to make sense of it by reading the official page. Still no clue how the teams in each individual cups are selected. Also, why do US teams skip the whole Cups thing and get qualified straight to the groupstage? Seems pretty easy for the good team to get there, considering there's 4 slots for them. | ||

Each winner from this round of 16 will play another round of 16 against the 8 invited teams. The top 8 will make it to lan afaik | ||
