Rules are rules, I think GDStudio did what they had to do. This should be a lesson to every team out there.

I would be expecting a sorry statement out of fnatic if they are a decent team.

If they were thinking about it/super concerned they could have drafted an all-in push lineup and almost guaranteed they made it in time; instead they did a lineup that had almost no push and essentially sealed their fate with the defloss here

Just seems sloppy, especially since we knew fnatic's game was about to end. They called it literally one minute before the GG's went out. Fnatic's game was about 40min and they were 30min late. So they started another match what, like 20 minutes before they had another match to play? That is just bad time management.

Just seems sloppy, especially since we knew fnatic's game was about to end. They called it literally one minute before the GG's went out. Seems sloppy? It's the opposite of sloppy. They have to make sure rules are enforced, the GD studio seeks professionalism, making exceptions and slacking on rules is not professional. The "blame" is on fnatic entirely. Not on the GD studio not being flexible. Fnatic accepted the rules and said yes to being in both tournaments. Dota needs more organizers like the GD studio, i don't like not seeing this game, but i really like them maintaining the rules and not making exceptions.

I was wondering why they didn't call GG in the WePlay game until I noticed that since they were in the loser's bracket, they were facing elimination in that tourney. And it has a higher prize pool than the DH Invitational.
