But you also don't spend time attacking the creep, so that's not really true. So long as you use it instantly while it's off cooldown, it does translate to a 1000 seconds.

Na'Vi didn't midas in turn and just couldn't execute team fights even with Batrider + Magnus + FV, Alliance somehow getting all the pickoffs.
That early Roshan just really massively screwed them. Puck 4-5 man ulti/silence + after FV was tanking Roshan down to a quarter health, gave Alliance so much room to get fat.
You underestimate global presence, global push, global fight
Magmus and void can have those two big ultis, but other guys can just come in later, or trade towers, Alliance late game was better. Na'vi couldnt possibly force a 5v5 team fight, alliance can just split and take 2 towers while navi gets 1, and alliance can pick off like crazy... checkout the last fight

This is what I wanna post after nth take the series: + Show Spoiler +Have been saying since navi roster changed and i am more confident once i saw how kuroky played support, navi will have problem playing against really solid team because their resource management is a mess (due to the way kuroky play support). Somehow NTH has become a real solid team lol
But then again people can say wait until LAN, and i agree on that, navi is a different team when it comes to lan.
That last game really reminds me of loda's insane slardar who was owning everyone back then. And look like they have prepared well for this G1!

I think you posted that after every single Navi game tbh.

Alliance with Furion + Io means shitty lanes. So from there you have 2 choices as Na'Vi: go full agressive and make the lanes so you prevent Sven farming, or at least prevent Furion farming by making him feel unsafe in his own jungle; or you play the farm game, like Na'Vi did, but in that case you build adequate items, not fucking Maelstrom. Is that Xboct decision? I don't know, so I won't blame him, but the choice of the item was crap for the strategy they used. Maybe he bought it thinking they were gonna play it agressively after the laning phase was over, but they never even tried anything... Roshan was a good idea, but when they saw Xboct losing half of his life they just should have B instantly, bad decision here. After that it was pretty much over, and Alliance played the fights perfectly...
With the team they had, and against a Io and a NP (two weak teamfight heroes), why didn't Na'Vi tried to force the issue early ? :s Taking the Rosh was trying to force the issue early. They thought they had superior teamfight, and as such could handle the Rosh fight. But the engagement went really badly and turned the game. It could have easily meant either a Rosh for Navi so they could easily force fights or even a teamfight win into Rosh. In the end it wasn't the best decision, it was too risky and Alliance managed to get a really good engagement, but you can't say they were playing passive early game. Having destroyed just 1 tower after 15Mn is passive sorry... with Dendi farmed as he was they could have destroyed at least 2-3 more because Prophet had just a midas at this point and Sven far from his bkb... I don't know I feel like at this level of play, teams should at least have a precise general gameplan. Small decision mistakes always happen even with the best teams, but overall tactic mistakes are noobish for Na'Vi..
Na'vi overestimated their late game because of chrono+rp+lasso
Sure their team fight is huge, but that doesnt matter vs split pushing and global gank.

You don't save 100 seconds by instantly killing 4 lanecreeps.
